By the way, I'm guessing that 'Fix' was a typing error, but I figured it'd be funny for Lucia to get annoyed I've it so I've mentioned it here xDSome random girl Lucia had never seen before approached the second-year nervously and introduced herself in a stammering accent which Lucia was pretty sure pointed to London. Lucia blinked at the girl. She was definitely younger than Lucia was, meaning that she was most probably a first-year, and had a curly mop of red hair which hung about her face like a storm cloud. Oh, Merlin, weren't there enough redheads around these days? At some point, Lucia was pretty sure in her current state of resigned annoyance, she would just end up calling them all the same thing by accident. Sorry, Scarlett. Sorry, Alexa. Well, this particular redhead was apparently called Elizabeth, though she quickly made it clear that Lucia was to call her Eliza. "No idea," Lucia said truthfully, and a little shortly, though she didn't realise at the time. "Annie, is she in our group?" As far as Lucia was now concerned, Annie was the leader of the group. Mainly because she was the prefect, and the oldest as far as Lucia knew, but also because she was a friendly face which the eldest Fox daughter could talk to without feeling awkward. Annie just had that sort of aura of friendliness about her, like she wouldn't judge, no matter how much anyone messed up. Or maybe that was just Lucia's imagination looking for someone to cling to - who knew.
However, before Annie could speak, the first-year in charge (Merlin, who'd put a first year in charge?), Michael - that was his name right, Michael? Or maybe it had been something else. It definitely began with an M - quickly reminded everyone of their groups and it turned out that Eliza was in Lucia's group, after all, along with three others.
Eliza, Lucia had just met, of course. She seemed alright, if a little over-anxious, but (if she was honest with herself) the Hufflepuff could understand that. Maybe a fellow introvert? That would be nice. In fact, what would be even better would be if this Eliza hadn't wanted to come either. At least then Lucia wouldn't be alone in her situation, which she seemed determined to make the worst of.
Annie, Lucia had also met already, and it was the same with Callista. Thank Merlin there would be two people Lucia already knew in her group, rather than her being grouped entirely with random strangers who already knew each other and just needed Lucia to make their team one of five people.
'Everly Charlton' was a mystery, however, and Lucia looked around to see who it could be. The only person Lucia thought it could be was a pretty girl who also looked to be a first-year, with long brown hair and brown eyes which emmited a piercing gaze as though Everly - assuming, of course, that it was Everly - was trying to see into everyone's souls. Merlin, why did Lucia always have to get the weird ones?
"Fix," Lucia echoed. "Can I first let everyone know that my name is Fox, not Fix? Merlin willing, I won't be fixing anything today."
Lucia almost missed Scarlett and Cash's names being called and stared over at Cash until she caught their attention, then at Scarlett until she caught hers. I- hate- you, she mouthed at the pair, miming pointing at herself, then cracking a heart open, then pointing over at them. They would both know she didn't mean it - Lucia'd be fine later, and hopefully would have a good time today. It would be a good thing, not that Lucia was willing to accept that.
Michael explained the Dare and Lucia frowned, but then he explained the Truth and Lucia huffed. "What is this, the gossip gang?" she muttered to herself, before twitching her wand out of her coat pocket. Of course, she was going for the Dare. No way was she doing a Truth like that, it would take too long to think of a convincing lie to tell. She turned to face the group. "Right, who wants to fly? Of course, no promises that you won't also faceplant the lake, but I'm sure the squid'll be happy to meet you. All's well in extrovert land." She couldn't resist the last two sentences, laced with not-so-subtle bitterness. It was Lucia's way to get things like that out of her quickly, and then she would be able to relax and enjoy herself. Then, the Hufflepuff thought of something else and added, "Anyone except Annie, you'll be heavier than the firsties."

Round One: Truth or Dare?
He was paired with a Stanley Buttons, Orion Neptune, Jess Malters and a Candace Dykstra. He had not heard from any of them so he was at a bit of a loss regarding how he was going to accomplish this -- levitate a teammate over the lake as you both sing the abcs. He could be the one that is levitated most certainly, the chill of a fall into the great lake might put a damper on his day but the goal could be accomplished.
With his group directed to a particular area, he would presume those that those that followed this direction were his prescribed teammates -- Stanley Buttons, Orion Neptune, Jess Malters and a Candace Dykstra. "Buttons, Neptune, Malters or Dykstra I presume? Pride," he would announce with a half bow, his right arm behind his hand in a servile-like gesture. "I am rather useless overall, first year. Unlearned... but I can serve as an object of levitation," he volunteered. "Unless you all feel like sharing your darkest secrets with one another," on the cheap if all that they needed to divulge their secrets was the administration of arbitrary points in a game. No, there were no true secrets to share less the ones that these children wanted to share. Truths that might not even be truths, who is to know besides the teller. The obvious answer to this would be to lie and claim the statement to be truth.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
Annie nearly got startled when the boy who had set all of this up spoke. It seemed mostly everyone had arrived and he wanted to get started which she didn't mind. She nodded her head and paled when he asked if she was okay. Darn it. So somebody had seen her slip and slide routine on the mud. Oh well. She waved off the thought before listening intently for the directions and team assignment. Turned out that she was in team one with a bunch of familiar puffs including Lucia and Callista whom she was more familiar with than the other two. It was alright, she'd manage to learn their and remember their names by the end of this after all, everyone will either be traumatized or a lot closer.
After a bit of processing she blankly realized she had no idea where the rest of her group members were. "Ehm if you are in Team 1 can you all come to my voice? I am not about to play Marco Polo to locate you all." She chuckled before waiting a bit hopefully before hearing footsteps approach her. The first voice that caught her attention was Lucia, fuming about someone misunderstanding her last name or something? Annie shrugged as Lucia showed her distaste for the truth. "I'm fine with whatever, I just can't be casting spells or I might accidentally er do something bad. I'm not confident with my wand what-so-ever yet." She put her two cents before her mouth turned into a frown and her eyebrows crinkled together at Lucia's last comment.
"Just cause I'm older doesn't mean I'm heavier. We haven't even taken into consideration if someone is scared or doesn't want to do it. Plus who here knows the levitation spell anyways?" Her logic switch flicked on as she asked around to the members of her group. Most of them were first years if she recalled. Speaking of recalling.. "Wait a second you are a duelist right? Shouldn't you be good with spells or something..? If no one else wants to do it then I think you could. I'm still open for being lifted, just uh I guess it would feel like floating for me.." If she remembered correctly you couldn't lift a person however you could lift their clothes to act as though you are actually levitating a person. She wore a lot of clothes so she would have to take off a few layers to make herself "lighter" but besides that she was happy to help the team in any way possible since there were a few places she wouldn't be able to.
She clapped her hands together after the thought, startling herself. "Okay the sooner we decide on something the better, are you all okay with doing the dare and if so who do you think would be good choices for the levitating and the spell casting?" Although she had already stated her preference, she wouldn't object to something else as long as they earned points. It was a group choice so she wanted everyone to be heard but there needed to be a definite choice and leader for the group to function properly. She wasn't sure if they had already earned points or were behind or not. Maybe Michael mentioned that but she wasn't paying attention? It was quite a possibility but she shrugged it off and instead waited patiently for the other girls to give their input.

"Hey, Katie! What's up? Oh, here!"
She gave Katie the matching bracelet.
Michael then announced the truth and dare for this round.
Umm...
"Okay, so. I don't think any of us knows the levitation spell? Yeah."
Paige gave a Dramatic Sigh. Deepest secret? Hmm.
Then Paige realized that Michael sad I he was a werewolf. HOW COULD HE KEEP THAT FROM HER HE KNEW SHE LOVED WOLVES. But she didn't have time to complain. "I didn't sign up for this. Except I did. Okay... Deepest secret. Do I even have one?" Paige thought. She scratched her head. "Oh... my night- yeah. I have one." Paige shifted uncomfortably. She bit her lip. "Any of you guys want to go first?" Which team were they supposed to tell? One person, he said. Paige looked around for the nearest person. "I'm going in guys, for that one point." She walked over to a nice looking girl. @Lucia Fox .
"Hi. So... for our deepest secret thing, do you mind I tell you? Do not tell a soul, promise?" Paige glanced at Simon before taking a breath. "I have nightmares everyday about my divorced dad trying to kidnap me and everyday I get a letter from my mum telling me she saw my dad walking near our house. And I'm scared to go to sleep. And, it makes me feel weak and thats all. I'm Paige by the way nice to meet you... Okay, bye..."
She laughed as she ran back to Simon. "That was terrifying." Absolutely terrifying. She laughed nervously and glanced at the girl she had told her deepest secret too. "Ohh. I don't like this. We only get up to two points if we don't know spells yet..." She glanced over at the team's discussing how to get people over the lake. This could get very interesting. Paige herself would have volunteered had any of them known the spell. Some people seemed nervous, others determined, others were just messing around. But this... it was fun.
"I hope they can sing well. That would be embarrassing. Now would it? If they couldn't, of course." Paige herself was good at singing but doing so was one of the only things she was shy with. Now that she thought about... she's glad she didn't have to sing. That. Would. Be. Absolute. Torture. She remembered the one time she was singing at muggle school when she thought no one was there. But a group of kids has gathered near her while she was focusing on a book while singing. They all said she was very good but it made Paige's face turn very red. Playing the piano, fine. Drawing, fine. Climbing trees? Fine. Singing in front of people? That's was a huge no.
Realizing she was getting lost in thought, she snapped back to attention. "I think all of us should do it so we can at least get two points, what do you guys think?" There was no way Paige just told a random person her deepest secret alone.

Rose smiled warmly at Michael as he replied to her. "It's good to see you, too. Thanks for setting this up. I'm sure this will be really fun."
She stepped back to quietly observe as some more people entered- some she did know (like Paige), some she recognized (like Annie, Lucia, and some second-years she shared classes with), and some she hadn't ever seen before. There were not too many of them to overwhelm Rose, nor were there not enough that Rose felt bad for Mike's turnout. She took in a deep breath, repeating, 'Today is a good day. Today is a good day,' in her mind. She wasn't going to let her stupid mood swings ruin what could be an amazing experience for everyone else involved.
While she was thinking about this, an elbow poked her side, making her jump. "Scarlett- hi!" If it had been anyone other than Scarlett, she would have probably snapped at them, just out of retaliation and instinct. But she knew Scarlett did it all in good fun, so she relaxed, her smile returning. Scarlett was a friend and she wouldn't do anything to her. "No, I just signed up and now I'm standing around with the people doing the Truth or Dare, but I'm not here to actually do it," she said sarcastically, bumping her friend back with her shoulder with a smirk on her face. "Yes, of course I am. My siblings and I play this all the time, so you could say I am an expert."
Cassandra Ironwoods approached them as well- with their purple hair and everything. Her approaching Rose didn't startle her this time, as she was now more aware of her surroundings. Rose nodded in agreement. "Yeah, long time, no see," she said to the Slytherin, her eyes warm once again.
Mike started to announce the first round of truth or dare, and Rose smiled as she realized she was grouped with her friends. She hadn't met May before, but she hoped she would come soon enough anyway. Okay, so they could either tell their deepest, darkest secret, which Rose couldn't think of off the top of her head, or they could levitate someone over the lake while reciting the alphabet.
And then Mike mentioned he was a werewolf. Rose cocked her head. Normally, werewolves didn't go around announcing things like that. For that split-second, she imagined Michael, all alone in his wolf form, cowering in fear, his tail between his legs- how terrifying would it be to spend the night alone as a wolf who could kill other people? She felt even more protective of him now. She wouldn't let anything bad happen to him.
But she shook that thought off, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear and talking first as her group gathered together. "I think we should do the dare," she suggested, and looked at Earl, and continued teasingly, "And that we should sacrifice Earl. No offense in any way, but you're probably the lightest, Earl, as well as the least experienced with the spell. Plus, the squid probably won't eat you since it knows you're too amazing to die."
She then shut her mouth, ready to get input from the other three who had already arrived, and maybe their last teammate.

Scarlett's dark-brown eyes flickered around the group, trying to figure out who was there and what group she wanted to be put into. She didn't actually know a lot of them, though she had seen some in passing in the corridors and in lessons. She recognised the Asian girl from that disastrous night at the Autumn Ball, the redheaded boy - Henry, wasn't it? - from a meeting at the pitch, a brunette from the train ride home and - oh! - Lucia and Cash; a purple-head and a raven-haired girl. Next to her position with Rose, Cash had approached the two in a leather jacket and a beanie. The Slytherin had always had great fashion taste.
"Oh, hey Cash!" said Scarlett, turning round from her analysis of everyone surrounding them. "Yeah, we should meet more often. I play Truth or Dare a lot at home, so I thought it'd be fun to join this one." Scarlett gave a little shrug. "And yeah, that would be awesome. I see Lucia's here - we managed to get her to come after all!" She chortled before the sound of the host's voice pulled her back. "Kay, this is it..."
The small blond boy explained the groups. Scarlett let out an inaudible sigh as Lucia's name was called for the first group. Perhaps not this time then. She glanced at her Hufflepuff friend who was currently conveying a very clear message with her broken heart and pointing combination. Scarlett mouthed 'Sorry' back along with a smile that hopefully looked apologetic. She awaited her name - she was group 3 with...Rose! Scarlett turned to her fellow redhead and flashed a smile. Cash! Another turning, another smile. May! Scarlett couldn't see May in the crowd and settled for a smile to herself. Earl! Wasn't that the pink-haired boy? Scarlett sought him out and grinned at him before turning her attention back to the boy, who Cash had dubbed 'Miller'.
There was a truth and a dare for this round. The truth was to tell your group your deepest secret - um, no thank you. For the dare, you had to levitate a team-mate over the lake whilst saying the alphabet and the more letters you got to, the more points you got. Well, Scarlett was very obviously doing the dare. Miller also said about him being a werewolf which surprised Scarlett slightly, but she brushed it off. He probably didn't want people gossiping about him frequently. Anyway, she couldn't see May, so she called out for her.
"May! MAY! Are you there?" she shouted over the crowd, standing on her tiptoes for extra volume. There wasn't an instant reply so Scarlett settled for the hope that the Hufflepuff would join them later on. She turned back to the group, following on from what Rose had said.
"I'm agreeing with Rose there," said Scarlett, tilting her mass of red curls to her friend's more tamed head of hair. In the Christmas break, things had looked brighter for Scarlett again after she made up with her childhood friends, and to celebrate, she decided to curl her hair. Scarlett's hair went through a lot of phases, and perhaps it was naturally wavy but it had been through a lot so Scarlett didn't really remember now, and she didn't care for it either. Curly hair was a nuisance, but wild and big and bouncy and Scarlett liked that.
"Deepest secrets will probably make us all super uncomfortable, and the dare seems so much more fun. Earl could be the one who's being lifted, if that's alright with you Earl, of course, and maybe Rose can cast the spell? Or May, if she gets here. Cash and I are Quidditch players-" She nodded at the Slytherin and gave a small friendly smirk, remembering her first match, which Gryffindor had won. However, Scarlett had been thrown off-broom mid-game so wasn't that confident in her skills, but rather, the team's overall skill. "-so we're probably not best suited towards the job. Whaddaya think, Rose, Cash, Earl?"

Round One: Truth or Dare?

As Henry stood, waiting for the activity to begin, he was approached by a girl he didn’t know. “Yep, that’s me!” He took the hand she offered for a shake before the boy in charge began to speak. Henry’s hyperactive brain hadn’t even noticed the way the other boy had looked at him, though the expressions were likely subtle. However, now he was very focused on what he had to say, as it was the first challenge. Before that, though, the groups.
“Looks like we’re the smallest group,” Henry commented, looking around as everyone shuffled off to join their groups. Every group seemed to have at least three other people. This would either be an advantage or a disadvantage. As the boy in charge continued to explain what was going to happen, Henry felt his shoulders sag. The dare was to levitate someone. He and Taylor were both first years, he recognized her from around the common room and during lessons. There was no way they were going to be able to do the dare. Which meant, if they wanted any points….
“We’re going to have to do the truth,” he said once the boy was done talking. He scanned the area, watching as groups began to plan their tasks and what they were going to do. “Er, well, I guess I do have a secret that I could tell. Who do we want to tell?” There were quite a few groups they could tell, but there were very few people he knew. There was Paige, but she already knew his secret. Perhaps they could get away with it anyway. So long as Paige said nothing, telling the other groups members would still count, right? There were other groups, too, that were still talking about their plans.
As he looked around, Taylor pointed to a group and suggested telling them. Turning to look, Henry let a small smile cross his face. It was the group with Paige. He didn’t know the other members, but perhaps they would be okay with his truth. Since Paige was the only one who knew, he was a little wary around others in case they would be very judgmental. “Yeah, that works.” He responded, nodding slowly. He waited for her to head over first before walking with her. “Hi, is it alright if we tell you guys our secrets?” Henry didn’t really want to wait for a response, because he was afraid he might chicken out. Taking a deep breath, a little deeper than was necessary, he breathed out his words, “I’m gay.” He didn’t want everyone to hear, unsure of what kind of people surrounded him.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
Mentioning @Michael Miller, hanging with his crew @Paige Chase, @Katie Palsorette
A dark haired girl approached he and Paige and began talking to her and Simon picked up pretty quickly that she was a member of their team but he didn't know her. As he went to speak up to introduce himself, more conversation happened and Paige whipped out one of her friendship bracelets. Then Michael began welcoming everyone, telling the groups, and so forth, and so the opportunity seemed to pass him by. He did throw a friendly smile toward Katie.
Mike told him their instructions, and then shocked, at least Simon, with the fact that he was a werewolf. So THAT's why he was drawing that in his notebook at the Magical Creature Club.
So the dare was to levitate a team member over the Great Lake but Simon looked to Paige and knew they both didn't know how to do that yet and then he looked Katie over once more and she appeared to be a first year too. That was out and already they suffered from not getting the full points. Still, Simon reminded himself that he didn't sign up for this to win but rather to have an enjoyable experience. By default, truth it was.
They were to tell another group their deepest secret. Simon paused. Did he HAVE a deep secret, let alone his deepest secret? He was truthful and honest and genuine with everyone so he didn't harbor secrets.
Paige skipped off, obviously having an idea in mind and walked up to a girl in one of the other groups and talked with her shortly before hurrying back to he and Katie.
He was going to ask what she said when a redheaded boy approached their group, obviously ready to tell his secret. Simon listened at the boy gave his. At first he didn't think that was something that anyone should keep a secret but he could see why - some people had preconceived notions of such things and others might look down on him for it. Simon certainly didn't.
And then that got Simon thinking abut that. Others might look down on someone for something. He did have a secret - sort of. At least he had something that did bother him while he was at Hogwarts. Wanting to do his part to help his team and assure that they got half the participation, he looked around to choose a group.
Group 1 had a good sprinkling of Hufflepuffs that he recognized, although he hadn't spoke with. So he headed up to the group with @Annie Morgan, @Callista Lovis, @Everly Charlton, @Eliza Corrids, and @Lucia Fox and not wanting to disturb them or take up their time, he was brief and quick with his reveal - just as Paige and Henry had been.
"Hello ladies, just stopping by quickly. Uh, I suppose my secret would be that I feel rather inadequate here in the wizarding world. Maybe all that don't come from magical backgrounds feel the same. I spend a lot of my free time in the library trying to learn about this world I was denied because I don't want to come off as uneducated." Was it a tragic secret? No. But it was truthful and probably the biggest one he had. With a smile Simon gave a small little bow like he had made it to the end of a school performance and then he turned and headed back to his group.
"Alright, which of you is going to let me try and levitate you even though I don't know the spell? It might cause you to end up in the Hospital Wing but it just might be worth it!" and he was totally joking though! He would never risk hurting someone when he didn't know the spell.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
@Stanley Buttons, @Orion Neptune, and @Candace Dykstra I presume none of you are able to participate in this activity any longer. If that changes, feel free to send me a private message.

His teammates had either started to stare off into space or never arrived at the prearranged space in the first place. Well, this as awkward. Perhaps the almost teen-smelled, bad breath or teeth? A resting bitch face? He would tap his foot a bit and check his wind-up pocket watch in his breast pocket. Yes, time was passing as it was supposed to. He looked around, the other students were interfacing, performing the task or speaking their truths amongst themselves. A lonesome moment indeed for the boy who had only himself to play with.
"Guessing I am a party of one," he commented with a shrug. It was not terribly disappointing, the activity merely an intended diversion. His lack of interaction was truly a consequence of allying with and depending on strangers. Their participation would prove unreliable. So be it he concluded as he gathered his mildly bruised pride and walked away from site of the truth or dare game.
"Thank you for you time," he would call out to the game's host Michael Miller. It was not his fault, unfortunate events happen such as this. His continued presence would simply clog the game space. "Perhaps next time will work out better," he added with a claimed optimism as he walked off towards the castle. There were a great many things to do with his day still.
He really did not need that cold dip in the lake anyways.

Round One: Truth or Dare?
Eliza was worried. Her darkest secret? That was the fact she was a Methamorphmagus. Did she want to tell them? No, not really. Though by the rules of the game, she kinda had to. A red headed boy approached her group, revealing his secret. The boy then asked who wanted to be levitated. That's it, Eliza would be brave and volunteer! She didnt care if he was good at it, she just wanted to have a good time! She raised her hand.
"I-I will~" She squeaked. What was she doing?! Getting herself killed? She regretted what she was doing. It's fine, it's fine... She could handle this. Yeah. She stood in front of him, her hands trembling. It's alright, I can do this... I just, may, die~ She cleared her throat. This was it. Her final words.
"Just, don't, kill me~ please." She looked at the boy, his wand out. She hoped he was kidding. Her main goal was to NOT get killed, NOT get into the hospital wing. She was about to break the goal. Maybe, hopefully NOT. She shivered, thinking about the things that may occur. It's fine. No, worries.
