Heavy Elena back into the tower with all her might Adlai felt the adrenaline pumping through her veins. When Adlai was sure Elena was fully in the tower once again, she let go of her friend, her breath was haggard and her hands shaking. "Are you ok?!" she exclaimed, her knees feeling awfully weak. She had never experienced a scare like that in her life. Then again, it only solidified her irrational fear of heights, only now making them somewhat rational.

"Elena, please be more careful." Adlai practically begged as her breath finally began to catch up with her the adrenaline and shock began to wear off. Though she wore several layers of clothing on a daily basis she felt a cold sweat break out all over her body, causing the fabric of her hijab to stick to the back of her neck. Adlai's eyes followed Elena as she stood up from the ground saying it would be best if they left the tower as of now. Adlai nodded and held a bent arm out to Elena, so that she may link hers with Adlai's if she so wished too. "I think that would be the best thing to do."

She nodded at her friend's inquries waving off her concern. "I'm fine, fine. Just give me a minute to catch my breath." Elena said inhaling and exhaling feeling her pounding heartbeat. That had indeed been scary. She didn't know what it was about the Owlery but every time she came up, something always went wrong. Maybe the tower was cursed, she would not be surprised. "They really should add railings or something." The girl said glancing down the side and wincing at what a large drop it was. That would not be a very pleasant experience and she could imagine what a state she would have been in the Hospital Wing. That is, if she would still be intact enough to transport to the wing. Such thoughts chilled her to the bone and secretly, she was glad for Adlai's quick reaction that had kicked in.

She had been entirely helpless in that situation.

Helpless. Unable to do anything. Just like her sister.

Hooking her arm around Adlai's, Elena nodded almost too gladly. "Thanks..again. I'm sorry for the scare." Right, she defintely needed to keep an eye out up here because apparently she had an uncanny ability for falling to her doom from high places or at lease coming very close to it. A dull thud as footsteps sounded against stone steps as the girl with the Hufflepuff in tow attempted to make her way downwards to a safer level where they were not on top of some great, big hulking tower infested with owls and several hundred feet in the air. She would feel much safer once there was solid ground beneath their feet. "This is better." The Gryffindor girl would declare to Adlai once they had descened the steps of the Owlery and the omnious tower loomed over them, a stark reminder of what they had just gone through not even a few minutes ago.
