The targets seemed to change. Both teams suddenly switched. Alina's quick flipendo hit Ileen hard, while Alexa's nicely conjured fire missed. Alexander seemed to target Alina at first, but the intended spell seemed to retarget towards Alexa, who swiftly dodged it. Ileen went with another duelling standard and successfully hit Alina, whose wand flew high upwards and landed behind her, giving the slyherins advantage in the next round.

Group C: Hufflepuff vs Slytherin
The badgers currently seemed down, but not out. No, this match wasn't over yet and just like loyal and determined Hufflepuffs that they were, they would continue to fight until the end. Alina also knew that now was certainly not the time to lose focus so she wouldn't get upset over her wand, she would go quickly and directly to the direction to where it flew from her hands and quickly search for it, hoping to find it in a speedy manner.

She finally had her wand back, and with the cry of, "Incedio!" she sent a gout of flame from the end of her wand toward her opponent. She bit her tongue angrily when it missed, but had little time to think too much about it, as another spell came flying toward her. Spinning on her heel, she dodged neatly out of the way. If only she could have dodged like that earlier! Now facing them again, she raised her wand and shouted.

He let out an annoyd huff as he saw how his spell went wide. Bouncing off and hitting none of the intended targets. Looking at Alexa and ALina up he realizes that things were going far less productive than they had hoped. At this point the battle should have been as good as decided but now it was in the balance.Mentions: @Ileen Knight , @Alina Rosier, @Alexa Mackenzie
Alexander rolled his shoulders. It might not be as easy as they had hoped but that certainly didn’t mean that they were finished yet. As Alexander readied himself once more. Stance ready and able to burst into action at any moment. Ready to try and get victory.

Ileen felt even more sorry for her past spells when she was hit by Alina's Flipendo shortly after she had managed to evade Alexa's Incendio. She only could see how the Hufflepuffs wand flew through the air when she had been send to the ground. It was hurtful but the pain didn't really reach her brain. Maybe it was the adrenaline. The young Slytherin made her way back to her feet and raised her chestnut wand.

While the Slytherin team locked Alina for a while and made her search for the wand, they fully focused on Alexa, who, despite being quite agile, didn't manage to avoid all the projectiles. Alexander's spell went close to her, but her final effort to avoid it (successfully) consumed all her energy, it seemed. Ileen's final blow reached Alexa's chest and knocked her off and out of the duel. Two versus one now. Alina was lucky to find the wand, or the fight might have become a massacre.

Group C: Hufflepuff vs Slytherin
Alexa shot off her spell, but was forced to duck from a spell by Alexander while she was in the middle of casting, so she watched unhappily as her spell missed its target. She didn't have long to be unhappy however, as another spell came her way and crashed straight into her chest. She was sent flying backwards, and landed with a thud on her back at the end of the platform. She skidded a few inches, and then remained still. She did not stand up again… She was unconscious.

„Flipendo!“ The young girl shouted the incantation shortly after her teammate casted the very same spell. Again, they were teaming up on the redhead and Ileen actively fought of the rising feeling of guilt. As she already had said: This was nothing personal but strategy and logic. They wouldn’t stand a chance facing both of them at the same time, so they needed to get rid of one of them. The only thing that made her feel better was that Alexa had her wand this time and was in a situation to defend herself.
And something else happened, something that Ileen perceived only at the very edge of her mind. She and Alexander actually functioned as a unit. Without words they seemed to know what the other was doing and fought resolutely side by side – something that came very unexpected for the young girl and conjured a short smile on her face.
Alexa seemed to expect Alexander to attack her and was able to dodge his attack, but the spell seemed to distract the young Hufflepuff. Her spell, meant for Ileen again, missed and the brunette Slytherin could dodge with a simple sidestep.
Ileen herself was so frustrated by her misfortune that since then she has used all the focus and strength she had at her disposal – and this had helped her to reach new heights. Her spell hit.
She did not deny the sense of guilt and compassion and watched with a mixture of joy over her success and horror as the girl was knocked unconscious on the floor. Her first instinct as a healer was to rush to the girl’s side and check if she needed help. But this was not the time.
She swallowed violently and then turned to Alexander to bring herself to others' thoughts.
Ileen raised an eyebrow and gave Alexander a wide smile. “Hey, maybe we should practice aiming together,” she teased him, but her voice and smile clearly gave away that she was just making fun – a luxury she allowed herself due to her temporary triumph.
Then she fixed her dark brown eyes on Alina again and raised her wand.

Group C: Hufflepuff vs Slytherin
She was down but not out. No, this match was still going and her team might be down to one member but she had an advantage of at least having her energy. Maybe even when all seemed to fail, there was still luck on her side.
Alina glanced over to Alexa, hoping her friend was okay and that she wasn't in pain. She would try and remember that this was a school sponsored event - a school sponsored duel within a school sponsored sport.
And she had to try her best to avenge Alexa. Those snakes had teamed up on her pretty good and now they had no choice but to team up on her and she wasn't going to go down without a fight. If she was lucky, she wouldn't go down at all. "Okay," she said, clearing her mind again. She now had her wand in her hand and was ready for this next round. Determination and perseverance. That's what she would give this match.

A brief scowl entered on Alexander's face as he saw Alexa dodge out of the way of his spell. For a moment he considered cursing a bit, though then the scowl turned into a satisfied one as he saw how his partner hit the target as well. He briefly turned his head towards her, made eye contact and gave a small nod. Before turning back to his target.Mentions: @Ileen Knight @Alexa Mackenzie @Alina Rosier
Then Ileen spoke up and Alexander gave her a brief glance and showed his own smile, before quickly turning back to Alina again, making sure he did not get surprised. He was silent for half a second as he considered his answer."Perhaps. Let's start now" After which his smile gained a more vicious quality. As he stood there, preparing his action, feeling the rapid pumping of his heart, the pressure on his ears, the adrenaline coursing through his veins he gained a satisfied smile. This was the ultimate sensation, to fight in such combat. To truly feel alive, which was quite an irony. Since often combat results in death. And perhaps, that is what made it so enticing. And as such he moved his wand and combat continued.
