"If you don't like sports on brooms, what do you like to do? Other sports, hobbies, stuff like that?" Drew asked calmly, as if he did not care she had just accidentally mentioned that Quidditch, the most popular sport in the wizarding world all over the globe, was actually not that great. From the way he spoke and carried himself, Elisabeth was almost sure that the boy generally took things casually; it was very different from the impression she derived from his classmate.
"Um... dance," said the Hufflepuff rather shyly. She had just mentioned earlier that she was more excited for the upcoming Autumn Ball than for the interscholastic broom race and now she mentioned dancing again - what would the two Ilvermony kids say? Would they think she was obsessed with dancing? "That's my main interest I think. But I like designing too - interior design, fashion design, visual merchandising... and I also like music and singing."
Basically almost anything artistic, even though not all of them. But the girl did not know whether to say this summarising sentence or not, so she stayed silent about that and instead asking the boys, "How about you two? May I guess? Gregorí, you're more of a scholar and Drew, you're more into sports?"
Of course it was just a guess based on what she had grasped about them in this maybe-just-15-minutes conversation, but who knows? She might have made a correct assumption!

Gregorí let out a little laugh as Elisabeth guessed him as the "more of a scholar" type. It was true that he did not take sports or arts very seriously and that he actually wanted to be some kind of a Muggle scientist, but he enjoyed other things as well. For instance, before coming to Ilvermony, he liked to watch television with his family and they would watch cartoon shows too in addition to documentary programs. He was also much into soccer, and even now he took time jogging around the North American school of wizardry when he had finished classes. All right, the last one was just to maintain health and not a hobby - but still, it counts, does it not?
"I'm not that hard-working," he said to the Hogwarts girl, considering his habit of studying on Saturday mornings was not enough (since he still could spend the evenings and Sundays doing the same thing - but he did not, anyway). He continued by telling her some of the things he liked, that sport more popular among the Muggles than among the wizards and also the fascinating animals Muggles knew and the fantastic beasts only known to the population of the wizarding world.
He ended everything by, "But I do think Drew is the athlete, like what you guessed." The Horned Serpent turned to his best friend the Wampus, "That's true, isn't it?"

Dance? Oh, that was cool. Drew had never much been into dance- he had just never had the interest in it. But he had been to his little cousins' dance recitals so many times he couldn't remember them individually. Jessica and Addison. They weren't sisters, though, they were just cousins. Both of them had definitely improved over the years- well, from being four years old and not spinning in sync with the music- and Drew always made sure to tell them that their dances and performances were amazing. Elisabeth did seem like the kind of girl to dance, if Drew was being honest. She shared that she liked designing things, as well, and gave a few examples.
"So you're a very visual and performing arts kind of girl," Drew said, nodding. "That's cool."
Elisabeth tried her best to guess their own personalities and interests. She was pretty spot-on. Greg told her that he wasn't that hard-working, and Drew scoffed. "Stop being modest, bro. You work harder than a whole lotta people I know." He didn't want to embarrass his best friend, so he just said it in an offhanded kind of way. Very casually. Yeah, and Drew knew a lot of people. So that really was saying something. The only people that might work harder than Greg was his aunt Pearl, who was a single mom, and probably his cousin Rose. She must have gotten it from her mother.
Drew nodded when Greg checked with him about guessing he was the athlete. "Yup. Ever since I was little, I was all about that physical stuff. Running and racing and sports and stuff."
He wanted to carry on the conversation, so he asked Elisabeth, "What's your favorite kind of dance? Like... ballet? Hip-hop? Contemporary? Wait- that's a kind of dance, right?"
