Dear Akari,

I hope we'll both be able to learn more about what's inside the restricted section someday. In the mean time, I'll have to agree with the not wanting detention part.

I'm getting better at accepting magic as it is- magic. But again, certain spells not making any sense as to why that could happen still confuse me. It's part of why I joined duelling- just to practice and get more used to using spells and magic. Speaking of which, thank you! Assuming I keep going to practices and participating, I should be able to do some more duels at least this year. I think I'll probably also continue it next year if I can- we'll see when the time comes.

Oh wow! Seems like a really useful club- learning other means to protect oneself asides from magic. Did you start learning taekwondo around the same time as piano, or do you have more experience in one over the other?

That makes sense. I don't really know honestly, and I haven't spent the time to find out. Same with the muggles believing magic thing. I don't know anyone, but it seems like it would happen. Everyone else would probably think they're crazy, though. Interesting to think about.

Duelling is actually a very smart way to go about learning more about spells and in general magic in my opinion, and it is surely a bonus when you are naturally so good! I do hope you continue on with it, maybe ill even get to see you once! Anyway, not that you really need it but good luck in all your future duels!

Certainly, it is always a good idea to have a backup plan- a fail safe in case something goes wrong and you can't use or don't have access to magic.
Well, I think I started learning how to play the piano first, but I feel that I may have more experience in Taekwondo just because it was more like a hobby that I did very frequently and I suppose was quite invested in, rather than a hobby that I did in my spare time if that makes sense.

That is true, I never really thought about that either... muggles who believe in magic definitely must be told they are crazy and that it's all in their imagination. That's actually quite awful really. If a muggle like this truly does exist, I feel very very bad for them. For their sake, I really hope no muggle believes in magic then.

Thank you! I hope to continue on with it, and maybe see you spectating. Can't say I'll realize, though, as I tend to block out the other people outside of the duel. So apologies for the unknown future me. I appreciate the luck, though, I will always be happy for extra luck my way. Good luck to you too, in your future endeavors.

That makes sense to me. I mean, I have more skill in what I consider to be more interesting hobbies versus hobbies or habits that are less interesting, even if I've done the second for longer. Do you enjoy them both, though, or does it ever feel like a chore almost? I suppose that's a bit of a silly question, from what I can tell you enjoy them both, but I guess I just wanted to make sure.

Yeah, it sounds tough. I have mixed feelings- I kind of hope they learn that it's true, but I also don't want them to have to deal with people always saying they're wrong. So I wouldn't want them to believe, as well. That's really tricky- might be what squibs feel like all the time. Except they'd be surrounding by wizards instead, so maybe not.

I would quite like to come and watch one of your duels! That would be even more exciting and interesting to be able to watch a duel where I actually know someone up on the stage!

Right! Fortunately for me I have been enjoying both hobbies for the entire time that I have done them.
I do consider myself lucky for finding more than one hobby that I like and still have yet to find either one of them chore like, but I do completely understand what you are saying.
And you? Have you ever experienced something like that? Something that at first it was fun and exciting but it grew to be boring and a drag to do?

That is quite true actually. I suppose that squibs do feel just as out of place as those muggles. That must be annoying... I really wouldn't fancy being in either of their places. Though as far as I know, or at least I don't remember ever meeting someone in one of those positions, so I have never asked what their opinion is. Maybe it isn't as bad or frustrating as it sounds.
well I guess all I can do is hope that it isn't
