Theme | Color-scheme wise, I'm thinking primarily shades of green (mostly darker tones?) and black, though please feel free to add any color you think would work well. If you could manage a nature-focused or artsy/painter type of theme, that'd be great, but if not, it's completely fine!

Borders | Thin; maybe white-colored?

As I can't seem to decide anything graphics-wise, I have three versions.
Personally, my favourite is the first one, but I included two with the quotes on as you asked for those too.
I've also used a different picture to the ones you suggested as I felt it suited the banner more, but if you'd rather I used those let me know and I'll make another version for you
