OOC: I was thinking, because there IS a dance coming up. . . maybe Matrix could ask Allie? Later, of course, not now, but that could be a good way for them to both start liking each other more as well, right? Also, once you reply, would you like to continue this encounter in the Great Hall, or just state that they end up eating lunch together and start another thread later? Sorry for all the questions.

Matrix told her what piece he was learning, then quoted what she had told him earlier about choosing a favorite color or book. Allie laughed a little, glad he agreed with her. "Yes, I suppose it is," she commented, still smiling. "Sometimes, I feel like whatever book, or piece I'm working through currently is the one I like the best, and then I move on to another one, and I think that one is my favorite." Allie paused slightly.

The Hufflepuff insisted that she wasn't bothering him and Allie bit her lip. "Okay, thanks." she told him. "And you're not bothering me, either. I like talking to you a lot, Matrix." she told him, and she meant it. It was nice, talking to someone who had a lot of common interests with her.

When he suggested going to eat something, the Ravenclaw's smile came back. "I always want to read," she started, in a joking manner. "But I think eating something would be a good idea, don't you?" She pushed back her chair and stood up, walking over to his side of the table and nudging his shoulder playfully.

"Come on," she told him, quickly reaching across the table to grab her bag, which she had almost forgotten about. Hoping he'd follow her out of the Library and to the Great Hall so they could go eat lunch together, Allie took a step towards the door.

Allie would reassure him, saying that he was not bothering him. She would then tell him that he enjoyed talking to him. Matrix would blush for a second before quickly shaking his head, his face turning back to normal. For some reason, he felt so uneasy around her, but wanted her company. It was a weird feeling that Matrix could not explain. She would tell him that she always wanted to read. He knew that the tone she was using was joking, but he could sense that maybe there was some truth in it. But so could he, with the right books.

Luckily, Allie would agree to go get something to eat. Matrix would give a silent sigh of relief. He really did not want to eat alone again, it was really boring without people. Allie would get up and nudge his shoulder playfully. Matrix would blush again, but Allie would be reaching over to get her bag from across the table. He hoped that he had not seen her. He would began walking towards the door, Allie close behind her. Once they exited the library, Matrix would began walking in the opposite direction of the great hall. A few steps later, he would realize that he was going the wrong way, he would turn back blushing for the third time in the past 3 minutes. He was not really this clumsy most of the time. No, that was a lie. But around Allie, he just felt awkward.
