Interacting with @Henry Knight, @Elias Kennedy, and @Charles Simmons

"I think some of the most notable people in our history, well especially ours, are the four founders of Hogwarts. One for every house. They were all great wizards and witches in their time, and all very powerful. They decided to pass their knowledge on to other through a school, so that was how the castle was repurposed and the first students brought to-"

Miranda was interrupted by Charles suddenly saying something about being sorry, and running from the store.

Henry quickly took after him, but Miranda’s confusion made he slower to react, and by the time she was halfway out of her chair, Charles was gone.

“Did we do something wrong?” she said aloud, not sure if she were directing the question at Elias, Henry, or herself. “Or is that normal for him...?”

Her face was still stuck in a mask of shock that refused to go away, and Miranda quickly say back down on her chair and glanced around the table. Maybe he doesn’t like werewolves, she thought. But that wouldn’t make sense, not if he knew Henry was one before, and they’re friends. Or maybe he didn’t know Henry wasn’t human. That’s possible, especially considering what he said. Should I ask Henry, maybe?

Hearing Miranda's question, was confusing to Henry while he knew the answer he also didn't. Charles and him have been close friends since their first year when they met, Henry didn't feel awkward around him and even revealed he was a werewolf around him but what happen today? As Henry thought to himself he couldn't understand why his friend would just run out of the room and leave, maybe they did something or maybe it was something else? Well now they won't know, well now his maybes won't let him go back in time and fix this before it happen.

Henry was truly worried about his friend, he wanted to leave and chase after him. He wanted to find him and ask what happened, he wanted to know why he ran and what was on his friend's mind but Henry also knew Charles well enough and he had that look in his eye that told Henry that he wanted to be alone. So maybe something else was bothering him, that was unrelated to today or maybe it was something at his home. Henry bit his lip as he thought and wondered what was wrong with his friend but at last he won't know till he saw him again at Hogwarts and ask him why he ran out.

"I don't think we did anything, and that's sort of normal for Charles, I mean he's a nervous and awkward person and he doesn't really do well in social interactions. But that was still a bit odd and I don't really know why he knew just run," Henry heard himself say as he continued to think, he didn't mean to say that it loud. He just did and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

The fact that Charles had ran deeply unnerved Miranda. A lifetime of never measuring up to her parent's standards had left her with a perpetual feeling that most people would never like her for what she was. However, that had never hindered her from telling people things about her that others would normally keep hidden, the most prominent example being her habit of openly admitting she was a werewolf. If someone only liked you when they thought you were human, and hated or avoided you when they found out otherwise, they weren't worth knowing. In her experience, it was better to rout out those kind of people from the beginning, instead of keeping up with them using false pretenses and half-truths.

"Maybe you're right. Maybe there's just too many people here for him," Miranda replied, although she didn't seem to believe her words herself. "Er, should we go after him? Or would he rather be alone?" She directed her questions at Henry, since he was the one that seemed to know Charles best. Miranda had no idea herself on how to proceed, but she tried coming up with ideas for the sake of the group. It was always better to have several options on every decision.
