Life has gotten pretty hectic these past few weeks, so while I’ll be trying to keep up with replies as best I can, right now my life is pretty consumed with school and sports, so I’m going to try and prioritize that. I promise I haven’t forgotten about our threads!

leaving for a trip on Thursday the 3rd, will return to the US on the 13th. will not be in the US, soooo will be operating on different time zones, and gonna try and be present + absorb as much of the culture and everything as i can!
will be posting starters for all club meetings as soon as i can, although that will most likely be after i get back. thank you for understanding everyone

I will probably remain relatively unavailable for a while longer, mostly for replies. I've not been feeling too well which has put a damper on my productivity.

Until further notice, I'll be focusing on the lore thread for Keith and that is it, once that is finished i may take a break from H.io due to irl things.

My older brother passed early Thursday morning so I'll be more involved in real life things and trying to cope with things till i start to feel back to a sense of normal. I'll still be around sometimes but I'm planning on spending time with family and such until we all start to feel almost back to normal.

I need to check myself out with a healer's note. I'll be out for a bit. I got a horrible rash all over my body from not properly handling some plants outside of class. Lesson learned... this time.

As a lot of you already know I got covid along with the rest of the household from the cleaning lady having it and not telling us until afterward. And then recently husband's brother was sick with pnemonia and other crap (apparently not covid as tests said no?) and his wife and daughter were also infected. He was supposed to come with them to a bid goodbye to this one person but got sick and instead of canceling he ended up going with EVERYONE including the daughter (around 9 or 10 years old) who had just gotten sick and was massively infectious/contagious. And apparently she gave it to all of us.... (not sure if everyone else got sick too from her/them) Even though he knew they were all sick and contagious he still brought everyone bc it was free food... and now everyone has the sickness... kinda shitty of him to go with ALL of them knowing they were massively contagious and yet going anyway just because it's free food... So I'm still not back. Still feel shitty. But now not just with covid but with whatever the hell he and his family have too. But husband's brother has always been selfish though (something all the family knows lol and has commented about). No surprise there. Sighs.

Just wanted to give you all an update as to why I'm not back yet. Oh yeah and another fun note, I have sore throat and lost my voice temporarily too. Lovelyness. Also dizzy and headache and muscles aches mostly in my neck although before it was everywhere. I will be present on a temporary basis. I can post whenever I feel good (I do have good moments!) but then I might disappear bc of the stupid sicknesses I'm going through. So we shall see how present I am. Once the sickness is gone I'll be very active again. Until then, will get out posts whenever I can. Sorry for the delay!

Hello all. For anyone expecting a reply from Lemmy or my adult character, Howard White, let me explain. I had to leave my home in western NC after hurricane Helene and I’m with family in Florida. Good news is that my family and I are safe. Bad news is we are expecting another storm to now hit Florida. I’ve had off and on connection here, but will be spending the next few days helping my family to prepare their properties. As soon as this is all over I will start again on some replies. I hope to squeeze a few in if I have a little downtime. Thanks for understanding!

I have to report an absence, I have been quite sick for the past fortnight and am still not well, I have developed a severe respiratory and sinus infection that has also impacted my vision, as such I am on indefinite hiatus until I can get it under control,

I apologise to my RP partners and my teachers while I take this needed recovery break, hopefully I recover swiftly and can return to posting soon.

I do have moments of vision and control over my illness so shall try and respond during those times.

Leaving for a cruise next Friday. I will be gone for 10 days, likely without internet and may not be able to reply. I will try to do most if not all of what i owe this weekend and week. But no promises.
