Hehe hey everyone!!! As an English-Australian, I can confirm some of my vocab is pretty weird too!! For example, some words are:
Arvo- Afternoon
Avo- Avocado
Servo- Service station aka petrol station

Keep in mind I don't use these words on a daily basis haha, i'm more british than australian when it comes to speaking and vocab, though an occasional aussie slang word slips out haha
