I'm not sure why there is an open spread to the way stats are rewarded for winning a game. You can site OOC reasons for winning the game, but, the stats gain are all IC and effect IC characters equally. I also could find no logical reason for why it's possible to put a +1 into arcane power after your character wins a quidditch match. This made no sense to me. My thoughts are pretty simple. Limit which stats can be gained for each position on the team. This will create more structured reasoning for stat gains in the system.
My idea?
Beaters could choose between Stamina and Strength
Keepers could choose between Accuracy and Wisdom
Chasers could choose between Evasion and Stamina
Seekers could choose between Accuracy and Evasion
This incorporates the 5 other relevant stats, but, limits them to specific gains based off their position.
It's just another thought I had. After all, we don't get +1 stats for becoming prodigal students and completing higher-level assignments even though we're improving our wisdom and arcane power by doing so.
Quidditch players are not limited to the one game, or even a certain player position, for all of their time on Hio. A player can play Quidditch one year and join Duelling in another. The rewards are given to players for the time and effort they invest in being involved in the sport and their respective teams. If we only gave certain points to certain players, this would limit them for the future, for one, and for another be unfair when compared with Duelling, where one - once the system is live - will be able to invest their earned stat points into any category they see fit. There might be other systems in the future as well that award stat points as a reward, also.
All our activities are played IC and give IC rewards (unless one wants to consider homework as an OOC acitivity, as it can be answered OC).

2. The second recommendation is regarding the class system. Whereas this site is a writing site, it seems to me that most of us prefer to RP rather than doing the 50+ word homework. I never mean to compare Hogwarts.io with other sites, but may I just point out that OC I used to join other sites featuring Hogwarts classes and for me they have a good system. Many of the questions given as homework come in short answer forms, some are multiple choices. Sure there might be an essay, but not all the times. If our homework system can be updated this way, I'm sure that it would also save the professors' time.
Homework on Hio is not mandatory. You will learn all spells that are taught in homework upon graduation to the next school year and therefore are not required to do the homework unless you want to invest your time. Some people also do homework for house points to win the monthly House Cup.
I have been on other Harry Potter Hogwarts RP sites, and while some do have multiple-choice questions, many also have homework that requires complete sentences and research to earn full points. As you can see when you click on the various lessons, not all of them require you to write RPs for example, and while some have simple answer formats for certain questions, others require more complex answers. In higher year some lessons also have true/false questions while others ask for essays. How a lesson is taught is ultimately up to each individual Professor.

Perhaps add more ways to earn money? Right now I can only earn money from collecting my scholarship, but I really want the marauders map, and a cat!
Maybe one knut ever O you get?
Or something else

You can earn money by joining a Errand, (events were students participate and gain house points, chocolate frogs, and money). You can subscribe to know when professors or prefects post errands for you to join.

Ways to earn money include:
- The top house reward is sometimes money for players. By contributing over X number of points to the winning house, you get a monetary reward.
- Joining a staff team such as newspaper, prefect, quidditch mod, eventually dueling mod as well.
- Some errands give money also.
- Getting money daily from your dorm
- Some players also use the trade system to earn a bit of extra cash, players that are skilled with post codes, artistic, able to make nest aesthetics sometimes offer their services for a small amount of in character coin. This final means is not moderated by the administration of this site, it is expected however that all rules are followed (no harassment, no lying, etc.)

Well, the quidditch STAFF team differs from playing on quidditch as a player. Although the winning house usually does get a prize for a win (some house points, maybe a bit of coin).
