You can have another character (iNPC) after 6 months without deactivating him though and some people never deactivate - I made it through all seven years without deactivating once. Some people deactivate once and then settle and have a better experience with their new character, some people end up regretting deactivating and they return to a previous character, and some keep bouncing from new character to character. Whatever works for you. I personally prefer to commit completely to a character and it would make me really sad to lose any of mine to deactivation. I like the effort that goes into sticking with them - they become so much more fleshed out and they can evolve too.

Yeah that's why it hurts to think about losing Lotus I'm committed to him now tbh also i see u have 4 and how?? I get that one of them is staff and the other is an inpc

I have 5! My first was Ruby Cazares, my original PC. I created her when I joined in 2018. When iNPCs were added to the site, I got my first iNPC, Slava (Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Preobrazhensky). I made it all the way to graduation and they’re adults now, so I got a second student character, which is Silas. I then got an adult staff position, so I created Taros Quintero, and then when I reached 6 months on Silas I was able to make my second iNPC Valeriy.

You could have an iNPC that becomes an animagus when you meet the year requirement! Assuming they don’t have a special race or talent
