-28 Well, I took the full name 'Veil Durchdenwald' from a character in one of my stories and DnD campaigns. My characters are German, so I of course looked for a German origin name. I always look for name meanings to fit my characters. In this case, I looked at the German name 'Feigel' which is an occupational name for a fiddler (which is what my DnD character is), that comes from the word figele, that means 'fiddle' or 'violin'. The name 'Veil' is a variant of the name 'Feigel' which I didn't like as much as Veil.
