Azkaban is the magical prison. As far as I know, the only magical thing about the knife was how great it felt to hold over Lucian. Y’know, until the euphoria wore off.

Normally you can only forward-date up to 1 month into the future, but during the summer you can do 3 months (so you can do some early fall school threads, the trainride etc). This is mostly helpful for first years since they don't have a lot to do in summer.

The reason there's a limit on fd is to prevent lore inconsistencies. The future is uncertain, something might happen that would change your character drastically, or you might deactivate OOC in between now and next year. You can backdate as much as you'd like. Also, if you could just forward date several years it would kind of defeat the purpose of our stats system and graduating.
