Thank you so much! Another silly question - I'm looking at the Beater actions, and it says I do [x] number of points of damage multiplied by my strength score. Is the strength score all that is calculated, or do you have a D&D sort of rolling system where a die is rolled to figure out the total strength score.
And to add onto that, as an adult would a half giant be able to participate in professional quidditch leagues, or would they face discrimination

for beater action. As for discrimination, there would likely be ic discrimination, but as a player you won't be prevented from taking certain jobs due to this, nor will you be required to consent to threads where you need to face discrimination. How you depict otherness of your character is up to you and your RP partners. I have a character (iNPC) who does not believe half-giants should be allowed to play Quidditch, but I would not fight with nor insult someone without asking if it was okay with the person ooc first.

Would it be possible for me to make a list of all the races and talents + who has them?

I wasn't sure if I was ment to post it here or in suggestions. So let me know of this was wrong, I would also understand if I couldn't do this.

I know that some races have a group (werewolves, part goblins, and Parselmouths) For reasons that they get access to things that others with the ability don't have. Where as abilities/races like part giant, seers, part veela + more. Don't. because they don't have access to things like the other abilities do. This list would be a thread, that would look something like this,
I think it could go wherever, possibly the character forum or at the counter. I would do it but a staff could as well.
This list can be used by players to see who they can RP. Example,
A year four part veela wanting to see if there's a year six Parselmouth that they could potentially RP with.
I understand how hard this could be, and that players don't want random owls from random people asking if they want to RP. So there could be a disclaimer at the top of the pace saying not to ask anyone to RP unless they have somewhere [open for RPs]
I would use the official index to list out people, so that I know there race or ability is approved.

Also make sure people know IC they wouldn't know these things about the characters. Especially when it comes to Parselmouths. No Parselmouth ever advertises to anyone that they ARE a Parselmouth, at least I don't think they do. The whole point of ASP (Parselmouth Club) is to hide their identities from everyone at Hogwarts. Just because you know this or that person is a Parselmouth by looking at the list, this does not mean your CHARACTER knows this.
So they cannot IC go over and say hey Parselmouth!

There's nothing preventing you from doing this if you want to. Just be aware that making that list will be a lot of work, and keeping it updated even more so, and it wouldn't be staff moderated.
Personally, if I want to look for people with specific abilities or talents, I use the search function in the Ability Application thread. For some things that have special accesses (Werewolf, Seer, Parselmouth, Part-Gobs), you can even filter the Address Book for that specific group.

Actually there was a perms issue. I just fixed it like in the last 10 min. had nothing to do with her name or the e, the e does not work in our ACP so giving her things is channeling but that is a whole other can of worms. When the broom racing team was made the similar name of the lockers caused the wires to get crossed - I fixed it for the moment but will have to add a unique character to the name.
