The 5 extra stat points make a difference too and are a good enough reason to be human. It really makes a difference if doing any of the house sports. Plus, races only get an ability every other year - so that too is a pretty big drawback.

Still love it for my boy though because his character development revolves around being a dhampir and his vampire father
