No offense taken. I’ve traveled across the United States and I’ve learned that each state and even certain cities all have their own accent. For example, in the Deep South, they have a southern accent, but their accent is a lot less noticeable in the big cities like Atlanta. I think it’s the fact that American accents are in a way all similar which is probably why people from other countries can distinguish us as Americans.
