You can do quidditch, broom racing and dueling. But you have to pick one of them to do. You can't do all 3 at the same time. You can do one per semester (aka year). Since you're a first year, you can pick one of the 3. Let's say you pick quidditch. When you graduate Y1 and become Y2 if you didn't want to do quidditch anymore and wanted to do broom racing, you can become a broom racer. When you graduate Y2 and become Y3, if you didn't want to do broom racing anymore you could do dueling. When you graduate Y3 and become Y4 if you didn't want to do dueling anymore and wanted to go back to quidditch you could switch back to quidditch again.

So a quick answer would be you can only do 1 sport per year.

Also remember it takes time to get put onto the main roster of any of the 3 sports. You will get into it once a spot opens up, so you most likely will need to be patient! You can sign up for all 3 sports at once but once you get accepted into one of them, your applications to get into the other 2 will become void as you can only be part of 1 out of the 3 sports at the same time.
