[ THE RESULTS ]

And with that, the Snowball Fight came to an end. The beautiful once pristine white snow had evaporated. Spring had started to approach. From the distance, a few house elves were bent over clutching their stomachs as they couldn't stop laughing. They thought it was hilarious when people got hit. As more and more people got involved, they couldn't help but fall into fits of laughter.

Apparently, these house elves claimed to have spotted over forty students and professors taking part in the fight. It was a great day for everyone - well, at least those remained uninjured. Of the participants, they noticed that five students stood out. These students were the top of the bunch. They successfully hit the most amount of people. The house elves claimed to have kept count...

In joint third, Gryffindor's sweet Anatole Evans and Ravenclaw's lovely Prefect Bloom Silverton managed to get 5 successful hits each - winning 5 points for both of their houses.

In joint second, came Slytherin's fun Ava Silver and Ravenclaw's kind Adam Harringtom. They managed to get 6 hits on target, earning them 7 points for both of their houses.

And in first place, the one with the best aim was perhaps the luckiest of the lot... Or perhaps the one who knew how to throw a punch or two and hit her target best... Ahem... anyway-

In first place was Gryffindor's brave and daring Eris Fawley (formerly Eris Elcan), taking home 10 points for her skill and accuracy.

The house elves had so much fun laughing at everyone's misery entertaining throws, misses and dodges that they decided to reward all those who took part. Everyone who entered the snowball fight mysteriously finds an Enchanted Snowball the next day. We've heard they are great for homing into your targets.

And with that, the snowball fight is concluded. We hope everyone who took part enjoyed it.

P.S. If you're curious, the house elves also noted down the three most hated people in the school most hit. These three are thanked for taking their snowballs in good spirits and laughs.

The third most hit was Dmitri Jones, who took 4 hits, the second was one of the top participants... Adam Harringtom who took 5 hits and the first was James Lachoneus who took a massive 7 hits. Oof! Unfortunately, there are no prizes for the worst dodgers... Sorry!
