When her champs voice reached her ears, Amina was already way ahead, right at the heels of Romeo and running towards the stage. The Durmstrang banner had landed in the hands of a random person right next to her. The young Bulgarian had pushed the sign of her support into their standing/sitting neighbors hands as soon as she had seen first Mik and now Felix being brought to their knees. She hadn’t checked if they were actually fans of her team. Now they were.

Her throat felt tight and her heart was beating like crazy. She had gone through a roller coaster of emotions. Pride in being part of this team and watching them fight came first. Joy at the victory, even though that had been obvious, and admiration for her comrades, but also restlessness and helplessness, since she could do nothing.

Not that anyone needed her. Her eyes were fixed firmly on Yefim and Valentin, the bored leaders, the captains and champions of her life. It was a real pleasure to watch all the Durmstrangs bring their opponents to their knees by sheer force of will.

They were less impressed by the damage they dealt out. Quidditch was also a tough game, but there was always someone there to make sure you got back up.

But Felix did not get up again. Even Mik got back on his feet more badly than he could manage. And that was the moment when her excited joy turned into fear. And now she ran after the co-captain. Val had already taken care of Mik and Amina was frantically searching the rows. Why wasn't there any medical help available yet? This could not be a surprise! She herself would do more harm than good with her wand, so she waved her arms wildly through the air. "Hey! We need medical help now! Quick!"

She didn't stop running and almost fell over her own feet trying to attract attention. A group had already gathered around the felled Felix, and Romeo at least seemed to know what he was doing.
Amina dropped to the ground a meter in front of her body and came to a skidding halt on her knees."Stop pretending and wake up! You hear me? Come back!!” She would have liked to shake him, grabbed him by the front of his stupid cape and dragged him back to consciousness. But it didn't work that way.
Although her worry overwhelmed her, she tried to give everyone room and not endanger his critical condition any further. She stared at him through clenched teeth. "Don’t you dare to die on us now and robbing me of the opportunity to make fun of you for wearing a dress.
She quickly averted her eyes and looked for Val. Desperation was written all over her face, a whole new expression on her features.

The moment the Beauxbatons champion falls under the hand of their own, Johannes is off. At least, that is what he should be doing - that is what he is doing mentally as he runs through the worst possibilities -, but his brain has always had the tendency to run circles around his reflexes. In body, he is temporarily swept up into a celebratory hug by their fair-haired King Winter. It is unfortunate that, in mind and attention, he is thoroughly distracted.

Yefim is in front of him one moment and gone the next as the board transforms into a dizzying display of free motion. Johann finds himself easily folding into the chaos, free now from the first task's constraints. The adrenaline that had fuelled him grows into chilling desperation. with every half-step. He pays no mind to the heavy tome falling to the ground with a resounding thud, left behind in his haste to leave his position, for that’s not his - or anyone else’s - priority at the moment. The oblivious crowd cheer on, briefly and explosively with all of Durmstrang's rightful passion before falling to a hush, but all Johannes can hear is the Horde's alarm overlaid atop each other.

To the team, Johannes was neither close enough to comfort (with his self-proclaimed terrible bedside manner, what was there to comfort with?) nor good enough to interfere with existing attempts to restore their fallen teammates from the peculiar rot still clinging tight to their souls. Compared to Romeo, who had immediately jumped into gear as a buff wizarding paramedic in lieu of the actual team of healers, the German seemed even more like the one-shot wonder he was. His haphazard self-taught medical training was ill-suited to the recovery phases after a conflict, but he couldn’t simply stand back uselessly when he was called upon.

If they could neither bring the hospital to Felix nor the healers from their stands, then they would have to do this themselves. Romeo, their overburdened lighthouse between the corruption cast upon the Horde, went seemingly unheard by their neglectful staff and equally incompetent crowd. Whatever sympathy once cast on their spectators had long disappeared into a drained husk of former understanding. In the face of such complicated new rules and systems, the healers' current assignments seemed extremely straightforward - sit around until the task was finished, then pick up the pieces. Yet, Johannes supposed with growing dread, it seemed that even simple jobs could be neglected when confronted with unexpected danger.

"Romeo- Romeo, I've got you!" He rushed to cross the remaining distance and kneel at Felix's other side. Barely quieting a wave of sheer frustrated disdain at the world, Johann was devoid of his usual flourishes. He pulled his wand from its D.I.Y. sleeve holster (...adamantly trying not to puzzle over how it had transcended into their task-specific clothing) and focused on their impromptu patient.

Remember, Johannes, that steady hands are key. Even with lucky inexperience (he had once been eternally grateful for it, but that safety net was growing increasingly undesirable), he knew conceptually what to do. "…This better work." The seemingly uncharacteristic self-doubt comes out under his breath right alongside the bitten-off curses readily taking residence. Maybe this was a mistake. Knowing his luck, he might just make things worse. He had never done this befor-
