Your RPG storyline idea: Despite having been at the school for over a year, Ross does NOT get wizard lore. He does not understand why the paintings speak or understand how the school came to be; however, he is too awkward to ask of it. In a casual conversation, Ross refers to the Ravenclaw symbol as A Raven or the Slytherin symbol as a snake. Your character IMMEDIATELY feels the need to correct Ross. Ross argues about how ridiculous it is, but quickly uses it to his advantage. He proceeds to inquire about the paintings and Hogwarts lore. Your character might look down on him for asking these questions or gratefully answer them. Eventually they hit a fascinating tale about a creature or a wizard [Possibly Beedle the Bard or one of the tales learned about in History class]. Ross is amazed, and remarks more people should know the stories. They eventually encourage them to do something with the stories, like explain a bit of the historical figures at something like a campfire.

I'm feeling a dynamic that's mainly just them looking down upon Ross and Ross taking EVERY MOMENT OF HIS LIFE to annoy this person; however, no matter how this goes I plan on SOMEHOW there being a CONFIDENCE BUILDING EXPERIENCE for your character, as at the end of the day I don't think the two would want to hurt each other. I imagine it being a self proclaimed rivalry of sorts that involves jabs on both ends. If you think there's a better plot to get this started, I'm more than open to it because I think it really depends on the character. Ross currently just needs the knowledge.

This thread is HEAVILY dynamic based in order to make it work, so we REALLY NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT IN DMS.

Additional Info: A couple things

A) If you're interested in the main plot of this, This requires a DECENT AMOUNT OF RESEARCH. I'm more than happy to help out with finding stories and such, but make sure you're not just making up an answer. It does not have to be long or intriguing, just feel free to ask me possible things you can use for history, as i'll just use the harry potter wiki. It's easy to make up tales about creatures in the forest through canonically existing ones, as obviously it never had to happen and it would be just a myth; however, when it comes to legitimate people just make sure you're not making something up. Again, I don't want to put all of this on you as it's supposed to be fun! I do actually enjoy research, but know it will be a bit of time for me to look into it.

B) Be a bit patient with me! I have school and other things going on. I don't plan on this thread going super fast or even starting immediately, but I promise you I will attempt to stay on top of it.

C) I'm looking for at least a couple roleplays if the dynamic hits the sweet spot, so PLEASE be a bit committed; however, it's quite alright if you're not interested in long term

D) If you're INTERESTED in doing the dynamic, then i'd prefer if you could write 400+ words in THIRD PERSON. It isn't much, but I get really unmotivated quickly when I write 700+ words and the response I get is 300.

E) Be willing to DISCUSS a bit about planning! My goal is to make a decent dynamic and a fun roleplay, so it will obviously be heavily tailored to both characters used. Your RPG storyline idea: Tina is a gossip. She just can't help it! If there's a rumour going around Hogwarts, she will almost certainly know about it, for the simple reason that she can't help but stick her nose just about anywhere it's unwanted. For this reason, she can't help but ask your character(s) about this rumour she's heard about them, once she realises who they are.

Additional info: Idm if this plot is two people or just one! If there are two, there are multiple ways we could take it! Perhaps both characters have rumours about them which are circulating the school, or maybe only one person has a rumour, and their friend is talking to them about it! On the flip side, the second person could join Tina in questioning the one with the rumour! This would also work with one person, too, ofc!

I would prefer to RP with someone who writes a fair bit (400+ words if possible ) but I usually match my RP partner's length. So, if you write ABSOLUTELY LOADS I will do the same to the best of my abilities! I don't mind slow replies, either! My reply speed okay-ish; the longest I'll leave you hanging is a week, unless I say otherwise. Most importantly, your character also needs to have a CRAZY rumour about them. So! I would like to do some more roleplays with some Ilvermorny iNPCs. Maybe YC and Drew meet up somewhere to do something together or they just run into each other randomly. Maybe they could already know each other or maybe they meet for the first time in this thread! This would be set during their time at Hogwarts. This could grow into more than one thread, and a deeper friendship (or maybe a little more, ladies?), or it could just be a standalone thread.

For this variant, I am more open, so I will accept any blood status and any year (as long as their ages aren't that far apart). The plotline is pretty much the same as the other variant. We can play this two ways:
A) Callista is not aware of y/c's magical abilities.
B) Callista is aware of y/c's magical abilities.
Option A would be pretty interesting, but I'm open to option B as well, provided we figure out how that's going to work.

Recently, Callista has discovered that her aunt (her mother's cousin) went to Hogwarts. Apparently, she now has a magical relative. Or rather, more than one magical relative... Y/c would be related to Callista's aunt's father, aka her granduncle. I haven't decided his ethnicity, so all people are welcome, whether you're Japanese or not. (But I would prefer a Japanese.) No, y/c does not need to have Callista's last name because she/s the only one here with that last name (and y/c wouldn't have it anyway because the name comes from her father). We'll need to work out it, but hopefully, it'll end up okay?

Your RPG storyline idea : Since I plan for Cash to get darker each and every year, I need someone to spread a rumor that their father had been missing for several months (5 to be exact. Started 2 weeks before last summer). Cash at the end will end up hating muggle-borns and half-bloods each and every year except the people that they consider friends.
The possibilites for this plot are endless! but it can go either ways :
1. For second years and up, you can say that you are at the Great Hall when Cash received the shocking news of their father been missing that sent by their mother (via howler) [I will attached the link so you know what's going on].
2. For first year, you can say that you heard it from the grapevine that been milling around the castle about the news. You don't care whether the news it is fake or not. If your character is the type of gossipers, the better.
3. If you have any other idea for it, I'm open to anything.
