Did you always do it through the notification in the Remembrall? Does the notification come every day?
Could you please try voting the whole week from only PC or only mobile to see whether there's a bug or a pattern? Thank you very much. You can owl me personally on how it goes not to continue in this thread.
NB: If you encounter what you think is a bug, feel free to use this thread for reporting.

I should add, it, like your stipend you get from your dorm is set on an internal timer. You do need to collect your stipend/vote around the same time daily to get the most out of it. The timer should be a 22 hour timer if I am not mistaken. It is my recommendation to get your stipend and to vote around the same time so that you can earn all of those points.

Suggestion: ROLE-SPECIFIC/STATS-BASED ADVENTURES & ERRANDS
Details:
Details:
Some pursuits just need a certain kind of person....
What I'm suggesting is a new addition to the errands/adventures system where only those that meet the requirement in-character can participate in it. For example, a main-story stint of an intense fact-finding mission about a mysterious dark artifact that shook the whole school could be set-aside to only those that have the right amount of wisdom and stamina. Or a mission to exterminate an infestation of imps on a nearby farming village could be reserved for those with just the right amount of strength/arcane power. This can, of course, go hand-in-hand with the open errands that provide fun and entertainment for all kinds of students.
Not only does it make sense in a worldbuilding perspective for some missions to be easier to achieve for different kinds of people, but it also gives an innate benefit to those characters that choose to balance out their stats all across the board. Presently, those with balanced statistics may be able to join Quidditch/Adventures, but their stats can barely make much of a difference during dice rolls for certain actions like attacks or spellcasting. You'd either have to have high strength, evasion, and accuracy to be decently good at quidditch, or have good enough wisdom, accuracy, and arcpower to be halfway decent at casting spells. Yes, one character might not be exceptional with anything at all because of their spread-out stat points, but they'll be good enough at multiple stats to be able to join a multi-stat requirement mission. A character that maximizes a select few stats over the others might not be able to do the same.
Of course, this proposed system would greatly boost immersion, as well.
This system would provide much more weight to statistical quotients, prompting a tradeoff between being good at quidditch, spellcasting, or doing criteria-based errands. There'll be much more thought put into building one's character through their stats.
(It might also help organizers think up different fun scenarios to subject students to by just mixing a few stat points they'd want to require and going off of that--like, say evasion, accuracy, and stamina could very well be a competitive game of dodge-ball or a scouting mission)
If you can't beat 'em, nerf 'em.

Could we add an #Event channel to Discord? This wouldn't be for house-specific scenes, since those can be discussed in House channels. But for example, I'm one of the Blossom Ball mods and I'd like to make a "last call" for posts, I have nowhere to say so. It would be buried quickly in #General, and #Announcement doesn't seem like the appropriate place. It would also give folks a place to ask event-specific questions instead of the help channel.

nothing major here, just thought it would be neat to have a feature to get to any page in a thread, it's quite painful to get to specific pages and it would be neat if you could just enter a page number and directly go that page in any thread

you can already do that.Noah Page wrote: 5 Jun 2020, 13:58 nothing major here, just thought it would be neat to have a feature to get to any page in a thread, it's quite painful to get to specific pages and it would be neat if you could just enter a page number and directly go that page in any thread
It should say at the bottom right and top right 11 out of 11 and then arrows to move.
Click on the first 11 and you can delete it an type any number in. Press enter and it takes you to that page.
It just isnt a very easy feature to find

Hi,
I think it'll be more interesting if in the Registration we can pick any nationality to possibly make our characters a migrant's child.
That is to say, the residence is still only limited to Great Britain and Ireland because Hogwarts only serves these regions. But IMO, if a migrant character who resides in the UK can be made, it'd make our community even more diverse.

@Ginevra Tsuchiya I think this is already permitted? I only say this, because there are a few characters already whom have different nationalities on their accounts. Myself, for instance, and Ariana Walker are of Argentine descent. Charlie Woodward's an American, though I'll have to double-check his account to be sure the nationality matches up. Additionally, I believe Aurelia Notresvace is Dutch, and Pierre Marchonne is Italian. Is this what you mean?
I probably haven't collected my allowance yet.
