I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that with my local used bookstore that has been here since the 80s closing down at the end of this month to make way for a new restaurant with their terrible parking spot...

I will likely not be getting the other harry potter books (I legit don't read them, I've already read the series from the school library once and didn't really like the main character centric focus on potter, but I get the books together because what if a kid in the future wants to read it, even if I'm not a big fan? I can let them borrow it, like my teachers used to do when I was in school.)

Same goes for goosebumps (I'm a goosebumps fan actually).. 2 bucks-3 bucks for goosebumps and harry potter books individually. If I'm lucky I'll find them at thrift stores but I hate going. I most certainly don't want to consider paying full price for them, so I might be either trashing the ones I have, or if we have a yard sale, try to sell them even if the set is incomplete.

Note, I sell books anywhere from a range of free to 5 cents XD I'm trying to get rid of them, so I am not going to set high prices. I have some harry potter toys my siblings got me that I feel bad for because I'm not a fan of the books or movies, or of the author, but only enjoy being on this site and trying to have variations in multiple different ways with original characters. But anyways, they got them for me so I feel bad about the thought of selling them but I want to get rid of them.

I feel bad that I couldn't get into the series for draco or harry or ron or hermione, or ya know.. especially being here on this site..

Hello, I have a question about Charms homework. I am new to this site, so I'm not very familiar with everything. So in the first question of the first lesson in first year, (everything is literally first)we need to write about the functions of the two charms we learnt in the lesson, but in the reminders part, it told us not to copy anything from the lesson. So how am I supposed to write the wand movements without copying something from the lesson?

Please reply soon. I need to finish my Charms homework and already sent a owl to my teacher. She still hasn't replied yet.

You can describe it's appearance. I tend to- for the example with Incendio, describe it in a way that matches (or the way I think it matches) what it looks like. To me, incendio's wand movement looks kinda like the flame at the top of a candle, or maybe the tip of a fountain pen. You can describe the direction as you move from left to right or right to left or up to down or diagonal, so long as it is similar to the way it is described in class. You don't need to copy everything word per word. Just rewrite them.

For mine I wrote the exact wand movement and stuff and I didn't get in trouble! I got an O in my first class when I did this. I didn't even get a reminder, warning, or anything bad!
