I think if Colin has any conception of American country at all, it would probably be musical in nature. Given the high pedigree of country music back to Ireland (mostly) and Scotland (to a lesser degree), I think he'd bop to that. He's a pretty good fiddler himself, so wouldn't be afraid to jam. Visually, there might be something about garish cowboy hats and sequins?
