FAQ — Questions
I do not think you can do this. Your current iNPC is tied to whatever account you are using that has the current iNPC with it. You cannot have your current iNPC with a different character if you activate a new character. You would have to create a new iNPC with your new activated character once iNPC applications/updates open up again.James Owens wrote: 11 Apr 2022, 03:05 Is it possible for me to move my current iNPC to my former account if I switch? If so how would that go because my iNPC is from Durmstrang and my former is a second year so would my iNPC get moved up a year or would I just have to create a new one when applications open back up?
Also, you can't deactivate your current character until you've played your current character for 6 months time.
Ah gotcha, thank you. For some reason I thought April 9th was a weekday, I'm not sure why. Hmm.Miriam Stube wrote: 11 Apr 2022, 02:20 The broom races take place on April 9th which is a Saturday. Therefore, there would not be any classes for them to miss.
Oh really? I was told that if I deactivated at any point in time and made a new character that I couldn't transfer my iNPC from the previous character over to my new character.Nigel Read wrote: 11 Apr 2022, 05:31iNPCs can be transferred to another PC as long as the player is the same. The 2nd requirement is that PC & iNPC must always be of the same age/grade.
In the case of an iNPC that is older than a PC, the player has to wait until their PC is of that age/year (IC, the iNPC is held back at school).
In the case of a younger iNPC, I'm not entirely sure whether it can be continued the way it is or it isn't possible to have said iNPC; but it is certain that the iNPC cannot be "aged-up". This one will be discussed among staff who take care of iNPC (I'm unfortunately not one of them).
According to the FAQ section, it says you graduate/new term starts July 1st every year. And yes, the FAQ says that you can hold your character back a year if you want to. I think someone else said that it applies to every year too.Lizzy Solace wrote: 11 Apr 2022, 10:12 When is graduation? I plan to deactivate Lizzy for a new character, but I want to be able to keep my iNPC which means I'll have to deactivate before graduation.
Also, when I deactivate I will be able to come back as the new character right after correct? I do not have to wait a certain amount of time before registering again?
Final question (sorry) I think I have read somewhere before that you can hold your character back a year if you haven't had enough character development in their first year, am I right?
For activation and deactivation, you only have to wait 6 months to activate and deactivate. Like play 6 months on your current character, then deactivate and play. Then if you want to deactivate the new character, you still have to play 6 months on your current character before you can deactivate again.

1) "the beginning of July." there isn't a specific date because it all has to be done manually by the HoHs so it takes a while for them to get through everyone.Lizzy Solace wrote: 11 Apr 2022, 10:12 When is graduation? 2) You don't have to wait between deactivation and creating a new account.
3) Yup - "Any player that does not want to move up to the next year (for example, if they joined shortly before graduation and haven't had time to properly RP their first year), are free to owl any Head of House and express their desire to not be moved up."

FAQ — Questions
I had a question for anyone.
For the Blossom Ball:
You cannot cast any spells that are not in your trunk.
What happens if you have the spells but you are waiting for someone in control/charge to put them in your trunk? Can you still use the spells even though they are not in your trunk? You're just waiting for someone to put them in your trunk but you actually do have them. But since Blossom Ball and Hexwizard Tournament stuff is going on, plus real life things for many people, it might take awhile to update and put them into your trunk. And if you want to use a certain spell as soon as possible for a plot idea at the Blossom Ball, can you go ahead and use the spell ahead of time even though it's not in your trunk?

1. INPC can be transferred to another account as long as they belong to the same user and as long as that account doesn't have an iNPC already.
2. Sorry, only spells, potions, abilities, items, etc that are already in one's official trunk can be considered. In a competition such as duelling or broom racing, it is even stated that a spell/etc that is added after the game starts will not be considered.

Gotcha! For #2, yeah I don't mean like dueling or broom racing, I meant just in general like at the ball. Regardless of how busy someone is though irl, they will most likely update into your trunk within 2 weeks time right? It probably won't take longer?Nigel Read wrote: 11 Apr 2022, 16:151.
