FAQ — Questions
Well, there was a fake sword in the books, so why shouldn't there be more? I think fake house items are a quite cool idea for flavor, but I guess the sword of Gryffindor would not be so easy to get into Hogwarts, as even a fake one would be a weapon.Solomon Lear wrote: 28 Mar 2022, 19:42 That is a one of a kind item, I am not sure how that can be available.
FAQ — Questions
Brilliant idea, having replicas of the house items made by Hermione would be a great way to tie these roleplays and the books together.Opeila Winters wrote: 28 Mar 2022, 19:52Well, there was a fake sword in the books, so why shouldn't there be more? FAQ — Questions
Made by Hermione? Erm, not sure if that would work, but having normal metalsmiths who aren't goblins create duplicas of the house items probably could! I don't know for what reason Hermione would create duplicas of the house items, especially since she canonically is/was minister for magic.Jacob Harman wrote: 28 Mar 2022, 20:12Brilliant idea, having replicas of the house items made by Hermione would be a great way to tie these roleplays and the books together.Opeila Winters wrote: 28 Mar 2022, 19:52Well, there was a fake sword in the books, so why shouldn't there be more? FAQ — Questions
Good point, but some characters from the series might have made some replicas of the original house items like the Locket, the Diadem, the Cup, and the Sword at some point. Like Griphook as we don't know what happened to him in the books.Opeila Winters wrote: 28 Mar 2022, 20:21Made by Hermione? FAQ — Questions
I understand, but that would mean having a limited amount of replicas again making it difficult to make replicas available to users. If one user is allowed to own one, everyone else needs to get the option as well.Jacob Harman wrote: 28 Mar 2022, 20:25Good point, but some characters from the series might have made some replicas of the original house items like the Locket, the Diadem, the Cup, and the Sword at some point. FAQ — Questions
Right, then students should attempt to make items like the Locket, and the Diadem, while blacksmiths and goldsmiths should replicate the Cup and the Sword.Opeila Winters wrote: 28 Mar 2022, 20:31I understand, but that would mean having a limited amount of replicas again making it difficult to make replicas available to users.
