i know there are plenty of non-british here, does anyone else 'read' dialogue in rpg post in a (bad and often not accurate) British/English accent in their head? i know i do read aurelia's speech in her voiceclaim English accent. most of our characters are from UK anyway. however, i do find it hard processing some dialogue which characters are stated to be scottish/irish in my head. i can but it usually alternates to my weird default thought accent.

also, i find it kinda funny how my brain processes kazuo shimada's japanese accent. its extremely not accurate.

i find it better to do so if the characters have some sort of voice claim.

Yeah, Kaz is on the lower side but not super deep or anything. Luka is definitely higher-pitched, and more excitable sounding.

I'm British and I have a friend who sounds basically as I'd imagine Lucia to sound. My iNPC Cassie basically comes from London, so I have no idea what she'd sound like tbh lol

I'm not from any part of the UK and i have an american accent OOC but my IC is really hard to do since she is Scottish-Irish. I just pick up things up from Scottish/Irish characters in movies for instance "I'll crush ye like a worm" from Braveheart. I kept playing that on repeat even ifit helped none.
