Heh. Yesterday in a lesson my band teacher was trying to get me to play louder (even though I’m already the loudest clarinet) so she asked me what I thought of when she said the word loud and I said ‘trumpets’. She burst out laughing

Trumpets are always TOO loud. Kinda frustrating, especially when you play the Tuba, a key instrument in an ensemble, and you can't even hear yourself play.

In general, most trumpets are narcissistic. They think they are the most important instrument in the room normally.

The same exact teacher asked me to play louder on the 2nd flute part but I’m the only flute who actually plays and we all know what

Also when they took the trumpets out of our band to try and “help them” get better buuuttt the band sounded sooo good with out then
