I have a question regarding shops; are we allowed to make a shop that isn't based around codes or banners/moodboards? That's all I've seen shops for, so I'm wondering if there are other options for different things you can sell, like outfit design, face claims, etc.

We are allowed to have shops for outfits and face claims. Almost all things related to HIO can be sold in your site-shop. We don't allow shops for homework/assignment help, though.
You also CANNOT have real life stuff, such as your maths assignment or your accounting work, in shops.

How can items be used for your character? Such as a dress or some kind of clothing. Would this then be a personal belonging to your character if purchased? And can you use it in threads?

Do you need an item OOC to be able to use it IC? I understand that you need it in your inventory to use it in moderated situations, but if it's a regular RP thread do you still need to own it OOC?
