Back in 2013, one of my cats was sleeping on the stairs to the right, so I went down the left side to avoid them. They woke up and darted beneath my foot as I was putting my foot down on the left side. And I ended up falling down the stairs. The cat was just fine, I was not. Soooo yeah. I got nerve damage in my right knee and had to do physical therapy etc... but it's a condition that usually takes anywhere from 6 months - 20 years to get rid of... I was also misdiagnozed 3 times in a row.

So it got worse when it should have gotten better. I was supposed to keep walking on it despite how much it hurt and it would have gotten better within 6 months. But they thought it was my meniscus and told me to stay off it. Then they said they were wrong and it was ACL and told me to keep staying off it. Then they said they were wrong again and that it was a combination of both meniscus AND ACL. Then they said they were wrong and didn't know what it was and sent me to a specialist.

The specialist referred me to another one and they referred me to someone else and that someone sent me to this person and that person was the one who knew what it was...
