I don't mean to rush the staff or anything, it's just I'd prefer to create my iNPC before the arrival thread starts, so if I don't have to wait to be indexed I'd go ahead and do it now. If not, I'd just wait, but I just wanted to know!
Only the first post and the trunk should be in the iNPC ency. You can add threads and relationships to that first post though, if you want to.Adelaide Barlowe wrote: 6 Mar 2022, 22:42Regarding iNPCs, are we allowed to have multiple posts in their ency such as threads, relationships etc. or are we only allowed one post and their trunk?
Okay, thank you!
FAQ — Questions
Have there been any developments regarding graduated and/or adult characters (non-Professors), for the community? Is there an estimation on when or if that might be available?
FAQ — Questions
The adult system is still in development, and has a decent amount of time before we will see it in action, given at the moment we only have 5th years. When it is complete and implemented, it will be announced.Aurelius Leeds wrote: 7 Mar 2022, 01:06 Have there been any developments regarding graduated and/or adult characters (non-Professors), for the community? FAQ — Questions
I applied to be registered with Index back on Feb. 28th but haven't been indexed yet. I know people are busy and I'm quite patient, so please take your time. But I just wanted to make sure, can I still participate in the Blossom Ball on April 2nd and the Hexwizard Tournament on March 19th/20th (I think?) if I'm still not indexed? It's not on my part, I'm just waiting for the mods to accept me and put me on the list. So just wanted to make sure I can still participate in both of those events if I'm still waiting to be accepted into Index. You do not have to be indexed to apply for an iNPC. However to participate in events (like the ball) you will need to registered with Index.

It has been barely a week since you registered, please be patient. If you aren't registered after two weeks, you can reach out to Professor Pendrast or LydursdattirKim Sato wrote: 7 Mar 2022, 15:59I applied to be registered with Index back on Feb. 28th but haven't been indexed yet. FAQ — Questions
Yup, like I said before, I'm not in a rush and am really patient, I just don't want to miss out on certain events only because I'm not accepted in Index yet. The ball I think is pretty far away, I actually mistakenly thought it was on March 19th but found out later it was April 2nd. But Hexwizard is sometime in March right? So that's why I thought I'd just put my question here. I didn't mean for people to misunderstand and think I'm in a rush trying to push mods into accepting me, I was just curious. Maybe I shouldn't have posted in this thread now that I think about it...sorry for being too curious. When I get excited, I tend to not think...

FAQ — Questions
You should be indexed by the time either of those starts as it usually takes no more than two weeks for them to get back to you (unless there are changes being requested). If they ask for changes, the sooner you do those, the sooner you can get yourself indexed. In general, it will likely be done by that time if you make the changes at a reasonable speed, if there are any.Kim Sato wrote: 7 Mar 2022, 15:59I applied to be registered with Index back on Feb. 28th but haven't been indexed yet. However, in general, we try to be as inclusive as possible. There are some things you will not be able to even enter without being indexed - such as the duelling team. However, for the most part, as long as you've applied and you're waiting, we will try and let you take part as much as we can. In this instance, you should be able to join the events but you would be unable to take an action (such as casting a spell) or anything since you don't have approved stats or abilities.
For the hexwizard, there will be a cutoff by which you have to be fully indexed before you can join - this is because the trials require it. However, I believe you'd be able to join in the roleplay threads (such as putting your name into the goblet) whilst waiting.
Note: This does, however, depend on the moderators. They might decide that you need to be fully indexed before entering. But where it's not your fault (i.e. you're waiting for approval and have done everything on your end), we will try and be as accommodating as possible.
But you should be indexed by that time, as long as you make any changes (if they request any) at a reasonable pace and let them know. If it reaches over 14 days and you've not been approved or marked as pending with an explanation as to why, reach out to one of the team (listed in the first post) as it might just have been missed.
