Well, there are certain events where you can use them, so there's that

Hey everyone - it's been a little while since I popped in here so just dropping by to say hello! And welcome to all of the new faces! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to holla at us. The site can definitely be a little overwhelming at first but it's great once you've gotten used to it!

For the iNPCs, they are definitely optional and quite a few people choose not to have one for whatever reason. I enjoy having it as a small character that I can use occasionally but that's just me - I'd find it overwhelming to have another full-time character. I am behind enough on RPGs as it is! >.< Regret having like 50 threads at once

Haha, yeah... My highest active rpgs in one go was like 70 or something, so it's definitely going down. Just taking a while. I prefer to have no more than 20, I think.
