You'll have to fill out the form in the deleting/deactivating accounts thread saying you want a deactivation. Though you're only allowed to deactivate after you've been on your current account for 6 months, so you'll still have to wait quite a bit
Unless you want a deletion which would mean you can't return to the community afterwards

I think you can deactivate before, but can't create a new account until at least 6 months of validation. Also, I'll owl you.
