! Snowball Fight ! Event

Serena's heart sunk as she missed the Gryffindor boy. She had almost hit him. But at the last minute, he dodged it and she saw her snowball pass by him melting into nothing but water. She started at him in disbelief. After all of that, he had apparently fallen... asleep? Whilst normally, she would care that there was a person sleeping in the snow, she couldn't right now. She just did not have the emotional energy required to deal with that. He had upset her too much. And annoyed her. She just wanted to get away from him. Eurgh, that stupid boy.

Luckily for her, distraction came swiftly. A snowball hit her in the back of the head, suddenly bringing her back to reality. Serena fell forward, faceplanting the snow before rolling over and quickly sitting up again. She missed who threw it but whoever it was, they had great aim. The Hufflepuff Prefect's attention was back on the game. She swooped up some snow and looked around, trying to see who looked very chuffed with hitting her. Whilst she looked for her target, however, the other Gryffindor girl that she had helped spoke to her. 

Looking up at the girl, she grinned and nodded, "Sure! I'm Serena, by the way," She replied, introducing herself when she realised she had no idea who this girl was as she took her hand and helped herself up. Standing next to her, Serena looked over to Professor Blackburn. Her new team mate had aimed it at the Deputy Headmaster. 

Sure, why not? 

She had already tried to hit Darren, the groundskeeper. Hitting another adult would not make a difference now. Tossing the snowball in the air, Serena aimed it towards the Professor, deciding to help out her team mate.

ACTION: Throw Snowball at Ackerley Blackburn. (1,3,4,5)

FAIL: Eri Windstone sadly missed Ava Silver again as the snowball ended up crumbling apart mid-air. [OOC: Please note, numbers 1-6 can be chosen only. For you I selected the numbers 3,4,5,6 because your original numbers were on the higher end, however you rolled a 2.]

SUCCESS: Adam Harringtom did it! He got his desire to hit a Gryffindor and found his revenge by hitting Sabrina Hurst on the arm. He got hit by Anatole's snowball in the leg, though it was weaker than usual.

SUCCESS: Eris Elcan successfully hit the Deputy Headmaster, after calling to everyone to join her in this attack, oof! Let's hope she doesn't get in trouble for this! Before she can celebrate, she gets hit in the back by a snowball from Michelle Lynch.

SUCCESS: Michelle Lynch was successful in hitting Eris Elcan in the back!

SUCCESS: Anatole Evans had great luck. Despite being at a disadvantage, he still hit Adam in the leg with his weak snowball.

SUCCESS: Lucette Brielle joined Eris' call and successfully hit Ackerley in the arm with her snowball. Oof, two Prefects had hit him now.

FAIL: Natasha Ivanovna Belikov tried to attack the random Slytherin she saw. However, her snowball went crashing into the ground before it reached her - whoops! Lucette was safe!

SUCCESS: James Lachoneus was the third person to successfully hit Ackerley - oof! He then got hit in the arm by Ava Silver's snowball.

FAIL: Ezekiel Wasek tried to hit Adam Harringtom whilst the boy was distracted. Sadly, the semi-melted snowball ended up fully melting before it reached Adam, whoops!

SUCCESS: Ava Silver threw a snowball at her randomly picked target, James, successfully hitting him in the arm.

SUCCESS: Reyna Calthorn was the fourth to hit Ackerley, causing him to stumble forward! Let's hope he didn't want revenge on these students.

FAIL: Serena Towers missed the deputy headmaster, who had stumbled forward from previous attacks! Her snowball went crashing into the tree near him.

Ava smirked seeing her snowball hitting the target. She jumped back again and after doing a quick, little victory dance and without getting hit by someone as she did before, in the first round, she started scanning the area again.

Ava started shaking. People were getting both more competitive and tired as the time went on and the round was going on. It seemed like it was the end, but it was still heated and it looked like at this point no one will give up. They just needed to finish it, which was good, determination and all that, but it was getting not only cold but also messy and everything else. It was w i l d. Everyone running around, only some people calm and colective.

Ava sighed, looking around and picked up two more snowballs. 'Two last throws, two last chances. I probably should not waste it on someone not important. Maybe a professor? Maybe the... Windstone girl. She took a deep breath when she thought about her and shook her head. No, that would be stupid. She already hit her, right? So why not someone like... a friend? No, that just would be mean. 

She closed her eyes and turned around, picking a random target.

Eris loud out a loud cheer as a flurry of snowballs hit the Deputy Headmaster. One of the boys who had hit the professor, a friendly looking hufflepuff, who's name Eris didn't know called out for an alliance. Turning to face the boy, Eris grinned. "Deal!" She opened her mouth to ask him if he had any idea who their next target would be, only to be pegged with a snowball in the back. What on earth? With a gasp of shock, Eris turned around to find her old friend Michelle, with her hand still outstretched from throwing a snowball.

Eris hadn't talked to the other girl since the Hogwarts Express, but apparently Michelle hadn't forgotten her. With a mock face of anger, Eris placed a hand over her heart. "How dare you!" She ducked down, making a ball of snow. Seeing that she could still carry another snowball in her arms, Eris took the time to craft another snowball. Content that both snowballs were made well enough to hit their targets, Eris looked at Michelle.

She would only hit Michelle once. Well, if it hit. She looked around the field again, searching for her friends. She didn't need to go for the Deputy Headmaster again. She had already raised an army against him. Eris saw a flash of black hair near her friends.Without thinking, she aimed her snowball at whoever it was.

ACTION:throw at Michelle Lynch & Ezekiel Wasek (1,2,3,4,5)

Unbeknownst that another round had gone by, Bloom was grabbing a bunch of snow together. It seemed that she was staring towards Ben a little too long, her heart fluttering at the sight of him. What was she feeling? It was something sweet and different. One things for sure, she had never felt like this before. Shaking off the thought of what she was feeling, she heard someone mention to get Ackerley. The moment she made her snowball, the round was already over. Dang it! Bloom thought in defeat. She really wanted to be a part of a the student attack onto the Deputy Headmaster.

She then decided that she had to make her last snowball fight worth while. Who was she going to hit? She looked around... There were a lot of people that would be great targets, but she wanted her last snowball to count. She then saw Reid on the other side of the courtyard. Perhaps he would be the best last snowball... No..., she thought, she then saw the Slytherin girl that she hit the first time. Maybe her? she shook her head. She wanted it to be a lasting impression.

Bloom, making two snowballs, wanted to really get to someone. She then decided it was best to get Ben. He hadn't been great at defending himself and she really wanted to get his attention. I mean, what girl wouldn't? She rounded her snowballs and threw one by one at the boy who her heart was fluttering for.

Eri looked mad that her second snowball fell apart. Maybe she would help in Eris's cause and throw a snowball at professor Acklery. She had already missed him and she could tell this was going to be the end so she ran to a tree and ducked behind it with her back to the playing field. She was cold, tired, and determined. Her concentration levels were a bit high for being in a snowball fight. The brunette wipes hair out of her face and planned who the next target would be. She decided to go for Acklery and Eris. This would be brilliant.

She took a chance an looked come out from behind her tree then she ducked back behind. Putting her ungloved hands into the snow she made two snowballs this time, and one was for Acklery and the other was for Eris. There was a determined grin on her face and she had a fire in her eyes. This would be the last round and it had to be good. When she thought the snowballs were ready she stood up and cautiously abandoned her hide out behind the tree. Then she threw the snowballs. One in Professor Acklery's direction and the other in Eris's.

Michelle knew it was a matter of time before she was going to be a target, she had hit almost all of her targets and knew, kind of hoped, they would fire back at her. It was no fun if you just threw things at people and they didn't toss something back. She excitedly hopped in the snow as her snowball hit its mark, she'd hit Eris right in the back. Wow her aim was good, she silently patted herself on the back and picked up her last snowball and searched for another target not paying attention to her previous target. 

Michelle raised a hand and put it over her eyes to block the snow from falling into eyelashes and impairing her vision. It reminded of the time she had been just lounging in the snow because it was freshly falling and when her mom called her in for some cocoa and she caught a glimpse of herself in the mudroom mirror, snow littered her hair and a few had found their way onto her lashes. For a brief moment, she had looked like a Snow Princess before the snowflakes had melted and just wet her hair. 

She refocused as she saw a good target not too far from her, Eri Windstone, another girl she met on the train. 

Action: Throw snowball at Eri Windstone (1,3,4,5)

Success! Adam grinned as he saw his snowball make contact with the Gryffindor girl's arm, subsequently checking off the last box in his to-do list. He felt proud to have finally filled out his goal, but now he realized he didn't really have anything else left to do. No specific targets to hit. After a snowball whizzed close enough to make his hair swish to the side, it occurred to Adam that a good first step might be taking cover. He dove to the ground, finding a space with enough coverage to block hits from most angles, and started to form another snowball. He could go for anyone, really. There was nothing stopping him.

Adam figured that this might be one of the last shots he would be able to take. If that was true, he might as well make it worth it. Quickly revising his plan, Adam rolled up another snowball and packed it tightly, ensuring maximum efficiency. He'd take two shots this time. Might as well, right? He scanned the crowd spread in front of him, and made his decisions. He couldn't resist making another attempt to strike Eris, of course. But for his final shot, he'd go a little out of his bounds. He caught sight of the Ravenclaw prefect, Bloom Silverton, dashing by and smiled. Bloom was one of the nicest people he had ever met, and he had nothing against her, but the thrill of messing with another Ravenclaw (especially a higher-status one) was enticing. He popped up from his hiding place, hoping to remain as unnoticed as possible, and let his final weapons sail through the wind.

Reyna let out a whoop as her snowball hit Ackerley, along with three other ones. Ouch... that must hurt... Reyna thought wincing slightly as the Deputy Headmaster stumbled forward, a snowball flying past him and missing him. Reyna turned to face her team mate, Serena, she believed her name was. "This'll most likely be the last round," Reyna said, grinning and wrapping an arm around Serena's shoulders. "Gotta make it count," she commented, grinning slyly before dashing off into the woods, bringing back some thick, packed, unused snow that she quickly rolled into neat, large snowballs. Although they were slightly heavy, Reyna wasn't super suspicious about it. What she didn't know was that she accidentally had wrapped rocks in the blankets of snow.

She rolled one in the snow, adding a final coat onto it, before hefting it into her palm. She glanced around the playing field, searching for people that she wanted to hit, people she may want revenge on. So far, only Siege has hit me... Reyna mused, leaning back slightly, squinting one eye to aim at Siege. Ready... aim... fire! She chucked the snowball at him with all of her strength, not even checking to see if it hit before turning back to her pile.

Who next? she wondered, making the decision to try and get in two hits this round. She eyed the people around her, her eyes soon landing on the Head Boy. Got him... she thought, grinning before hefting up another snowball in her hand. He's not as much of an idiot as Siege, so I'll let him off easy, she thought, aiming for his knees before throwing the snowball.

James felt he fight was coming to a close. Afterwards, they would all probably go and change clothes, and some might even take a warm bath or shower. Maybe he could set up a nice "after-party get-together thing" with hot chocolate or something for everyone. James was soaked and freezing cold, but he was determined to make the best of the last few seconds. James grabbed two snowballs, one in each hand. He could hit anybody he wanted, so he looked around at all of the people surrounding him. 
He wasn't going to hit Marissa, even though she had hit him earlier, and also because they had an alliance, and also because she probably wouldn't like it, and also because he twin sister was there, and would probably get mad at him, and also...
James wasn't going to hit Claryssa because he had an alliance with her too, and she hadn't done anything against him this whole time.
Lucette? Nah, James wasn't going to throw at her. He already had, and she hadn't even looked for any revenge. She had just given a friendly thumbs-up and a smile. Plus, their current alliance.
He wasn't going to hit Eris, because he had helped her by answering to her call of gaining up on Professor Blackburn, and he wasn't going to hit Professor Blackburn, because he had already thrown a snowball at him once, and didn't want to get into any possible trouble with him.
Anthony had already taken a few snowballs from James' team, so James didn't bother to throw at him, giving him somewhat of a break.
Ezekiel was an enemy, but James had already thrown at him, so James didn't worry about trying to hit him.
James had called out to Serena, proposing an alliance, but she hadn't responded. This bummed James out a bit, but he wasn't going to just turn and hit her with a snowball because of it. He wasn't any Maleficent, angry because she wasn't invited to a party.
Adam had already been targeted, so James didn't think too much about aiming for him again.
...
But then, there was Ava...
She was the last one to throw a snowball at James, and James hadn't shown any reaction. James didn't want her to feel left out or ignored!
James looked at the two snowballs he held, weighing them in his hands. Sighing with a smile, he made up his mind.
He threw one at Ava, aiming straight for her, and then took the other one and threw it at himself. He threw it up into the air above him, and stood under it with his arms outstretched, waiting for the cold snow to rain down on him.
Does hitting myself with a snowball count? He asked himself, laughing lightly, satisfied with the fun that he had out there in the snow.
