The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
She saw the slytherin boy cone over to the table and aske midas if he could sit down. She knew what he was doing. Being mishcivous and she liked it. Smiling at him she looked to her right and saw the empty seating. Picking up her bag she cleared the seats and put her stuff under her feet. Standing up she looked towards the slytherin boy. "Excuse me! There is room over gere next to me. If you would like to come join us." Her smile was friendly as she waved him over. She gracefully turned and sat back down.
She could tell people were staring at her. Some even whispering. She could hear some snickers, chuckles, and giggles from the slytherin table as they looked at the shocked Ravenclaw table. Some even stared at her with open mouths. Quietly she ate the food on her fork and waited to see if the boy would answer her. She turned and smiled again at him. Winking a very small wink. Hoping he could tell she was playing along with his ruse. She also wanted to make new friends and would take all the risks neccassary to do so. All she could do now was wait.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Kaegen didn't much like his house, I mean it wasn't bad but it wasn't like home or anything. What he did understand is that he had to be loyal to it. It was his duty. When the hat chose him it assigned this house to him, he had to protect this house and it's property. And now a slytherin, a member of a rival house had entered the territory that was sovereign to ravenclaw. To make matters worse he had been openly invited by that girl. He forgot her name, but she was ravenclaw, why was she inviting this slytherin over? Who knows what the boy from the other house could be planning, why he had come over. The rest of the table was in shock, but Kaegen knew that someone had to act, and if he was a part of this house, he may as well act like it. In a silent lunge, Kaegen leaped on top of the table, the empty sleeves of his robe flapping a bit behind him. In a uncharacteristically loud motion, The robe flew off, flapping in the air as it sailed upwards.
Underneath the robe was a shirt and pants made almost entirely of leather straps and belts, holding all manner of containers and boxes tight to the boy's body. The most obvious of these was a shining knife, a black slingshot, and the vials that housed creatures that most of the other students had never even known existed. There were random leaves and sticks, too. It almost looked like some kid's collection of weird things that he strapped to himself.
Reaching down, Kaegen grabbed a hipflask, and screwed it open. He started humming fast, faster, even faster. It was energizing, exiting. Conveying a sense of danger, and of urgency. A few ants crawled out of the hip flask into Kaegen's waiting hand. Pressing the lid down with the thumb of the hand that was holding the flask, Kaegen threw the ants. Wizzing past the slythering boy, they exploded with a loud BANG on the floor of the great hall. He had missed, he had been far too fast, not taking his time. He wasn't very good with this protecting thing.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
"Kaegen. Stop. There aren't any rules that say you can't sit at another houses table." She got up and walked in front of Kaegen. "Stop using your creatures." She whispered so only he could hear. Then she turned and forced a smile. She was so annoyed right now it was unreal. Then she walked back to her seat and sat down.
She thought to herself. What is Kaegen doing? Then she began to eat he food again. After she had eaten a little bit more she pushed her plate away. At least Kaegen had not let the acid lizard out. That would have been a disaster. A complete disaster.
She stayed seated and sighed. She didn't understand her house. One minute they are fine the next they are not. Well they have a reason to be shocked. For one the girl who was just to shy to talk to anyone at her table just invited a Slytherin boy to sit with her. Second the Slytherin boy came over and asked to sit with the Ravenclaws. Third Kaegen threw some kind of bomb creature at the Slytherin boy.
She shook her head and sighed. This would be a very long year.

Xeno was just about to make his way over to the girl, when suddenly someone jumped up onto the table, his robes billowing furiously behind him, and fired something straight at him. He barely had time to gasp before there was an explosion behind him. He held both of his hands up in front of him, showing he didn't want trouble. The same girl who had offered him a seat stood up and spoke harshly to the boy on the table, defending him. She sat back down, and there was a moment of tense silence before Xeno lowered his hands and smiled shakily, still shocked by the boy's - Kaegen's - actions.
He walked cautiously over to the girl, still watching Kaegen as he did so. "Thank you for offering me a seat," he addressed her, "And, um, Kaegen, was it? I don't mean any harm, and I'd rather not get into any fights." With that, he sat down, and grinned at the girl, happy with the uproar he had caused, even if he had nearly got his by whatever Kaegen threw at him.
"I'm Xenoxilius Blackthorn, and you are?" he said, and while he still felt his stomach curl slightly with nerves, he managed, for once, to introduce himself without stuttering. Smiling wider, knowing he had made a somewhat decent first impression, he stuck out his hand for her to shake.

She smiled watching him come to sit with her. So his name was Xenoxilius. She shook his hand "Eri Windstone. You are welcome." She continued looking at Kaegen hoping he wouldn't try more trouble. Xenoxilius was just being nice. Also, he was causing a commotion and she thought it that was great. Sometimes people need to cause a commotion. She smiled at him. "So interesting time isn't it?" She looked around at all of her table mates. Some stopped staring, but some still are. There were still a few whispering but not many. She hoped Kaegen would forgive her for speaking harshly to him.
She turned toward the slytherin boy and smiled. "So did you get bored and wanted to cause a commotion?" She asked suppressing a small giggle. This was a very interesting day for her. There was so much interesting things going on that she couldn't keep up. So she continued to observe her table mates. Hopefully, they wouldn't hate her for this, but did she care? No, not really.
She picked up her bag from under the table and sat it on her lap. Things were going very crazy and she liked it so much. She sat and waited for his response.

Xeno chuckled softly at her question. "Yeah, pretty much. I find it quite amusing how surprised everyone becomes." he absentmindedly tucked his hair behind his ear, from where it had fallen in his eyes, again. "So what about you? Do you enjoy causing mayhem as well?" Xeno already liked Eri, she had that sparkle of mischief in her eyes, and seemed to approve of his antics. He had the feeling that they would get on well.
He began to pile food onto his plate, sitting slightly slouched, relaxing into his chair. That earned him some dirty looks, as he visibly made himself at home. He picked up his knife and fork, and dug into a pork chop, which was absolutely delicious. In the meantime, he took in Eri's appearance. She was a little shorter than him, with brown hair cut in a neat bob and green eyes shining with intelligence. Well, she is a Ravenclaw, he thought to himself, intelligence is one of their most valued traits. She was dressed neatly, no wrinkles in her robe, and seemed to know how to present herself; as a force to be reckoned with. If she wasn't a Ravenclaw, she'd fit in nicely in Slytherin.

Kaegen grabbed the cloak as it came down, slipping it over his head. The slytherin boy had been granted asylum? And of course there were rules. This was called the ravenclaw table. The rule was in the name itself. As the two talked, Kaegen just crouched there, he didn't seem to move, or breathe. He blinked rarely and kept up his vigil, watching every single motion the pair made. He wasn't sure what the deal was with the girl any more. She had invited over a slytherin. Why was no one doing anything? There was no way this could be left unchecked. But he did screw his hip flask all the way down. Slowly.
If he was going to start a war, if slytherin attacked and ravenclaw just stood shocked, he would need to find some way to hold them off.
Vortigern had recovered. He might have to ask the little salamander for help, but not right now. That boy had a knife in his hand. He had confirmed the girl's question. The only reason this slytherin boy had come here was to cause a commotion. To upset whatever balance this school had. If something didn't happen about this, Kaegen was going to have to counterattack by melting the slytherins table. But not right now, right now, he was just going to watch silently, crouched on the table.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Clary sat quietly at the Ravenclaw table next to Kaegan, casually minding her own business as the Slytherin boy came over to join them. She didn't really see the harm in mingling with other houses, though she noticed Kaegan tense immediately at the boy's presence. She glanced over in his direction for a moment, a warning expression on her face, before returning to eat her meal, a pile of sweet potatoes currently on her plate. Much too late, she'd come to recognize Kaegan's plan as he uncapped the hip flask and tossed a few exploding ants in the direction of the unfortunate Slytherin boy. She held a breath, waiting to see what the reaction would be and let out a soft sigh as Kaegan would miss. Before she could even open her mouth to scold him, Eri had completed the task.
"You really don't need to become violent with everyone you see, Kaegan," Clary murmured under her breath, pausing from her plate to take a sip of pumpkin juice, her current favorite beverage. "Whatever-his-name isn't causing any harm, and even if he was, throwing ants at him isn't going to do anything except kill your ants!"
She shook her head, mumbling something under her breath about how confusing Kaegan was, and shifted on the long, wooden bench to glance over at Eri and the Slytherin boy. She hadn't seen her dorm-mate in a while, and she figured this would be a decent opportunity to speak with her. "Hey, Eri, did you cut your hair? It looks nice." She tossed a quick whatever you're thinking, just don't expression in Kaegan's direction and smiled over at Eri and the Slytherin, waiting for a reply to her question.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
James was quite late, though there was no "late" when it came to table arrivals, he was clearly late in the sense he'd arrive after everyone else. James was carrying a book as well as his bag, which had been filled with journals at the time. James preferred the library over the great hall, but felt obligated to arrive at the table regardless. Upon his arrival he saw two of his friends from the incident at the Leaky Cauldron: Claryssa and Kaegan.
James sat across from the two, placing his bag under the table near his feet. "Hi Kaegan. Hi Claryssa." James said, looking at the two before noticing something odd. He addressed the elephant in the room, or rather, the Slytherin in the ravenclaw table, by saying: "What's he doing here?" James said, looking at Kaegan and Claryssa. People from other house had always sat at their own table, so what was this guy doing? James was confused, by wanting to try to be polite.
James decided to catch up with the two, as he hadn't seen them a lot recently. "So, what have you two been up to?" James asked curiously, placing his book onto the table. Prior to his arrival, he noticed Claryssa scolding Kaegan, though James didn't know what for. James was slightly touching his food with his fork, though not eating it. James sat there, waiting for a response.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Clary's attention was drawn away from Eri and the Slytherin boy as James approached the table, sitting across from her and Kaegan. She smiled over at the familiar face, hearing her name, and nodded her head in greeting. Although James and Clary had first met during the peculiar incident at the Leaky Cauldron, where he'd been quick to offer his help to she and Kaegan when it was needed, they had also been seeing each other around a lot more recently, too. When they'd returned from the Leaky Cauldron adventure, she found herself occasionally visiting with James, Kendra, and Kaegan in the Study Room area of the castle on the First Floor. He'd also attended Quidditch try-outs and proved himself to be a pretty skillful Keeper, while Clary hadn't been all-too-successful at Chaser herself. At least she tried!
Immediately, she realized James was already questioning the presence of the Slytherin, a situation she had no simple answer to. It seemed the boy was trying to make trouble by invading the "Ravenclaw territory", but at the same time, the Ravenclaws shouldn't try to kick him out with violence, either. "Don't ask me about him. I have absolutely zero idea. However, Kaegan here just tried to throw exploding ants at him, so I guess that shows how Ravenclaw hospitality goes." She smirked in amusement, the only sign she agreed the Slytherin wasn't welcome at their table. Clary was a bit proud of Kaegan's actions, knowing she'd never have the courage or will to do something so rude herself.
Clary shrugged. She'd seen James at Quidditch try-outs a few days ago, but with classes taking most of her time, the two really hadn't had the opportunity to speak until this moment. "Not a lot, honestly. Just classes and what-not. Hopefully, Quidditch will be announced soon! What about you?"
