Pericles was unable to attend this year's summer camp because his writer is cruel parents didn't think it necessary. Glum over missing out, he's trying to distract himself with early school preparation. He knows the stores by heart- especially Flourish and Blotts Bookseller. If your first-year is struggling with getting everything on their materials list, he would be glad for the distraction of helping them hunt down their necessities.

At the end of last school year, professors announced that- due to the growing dangers around school- prefects must patrol in groups of two or more at all times. I'm looking to play out one or more scenario in which Pericles and a fellow prefect have time to patrol together, get to know one another, and possibly (calling all miscreants) catch students out and about after curfew. Being a Ravenclaw prefect, Pericles patrols the Great Lake at night. He and a prefect partner would encounter two students there, either causing mischief or simply sneaking out after curfew for kicks. They try to escape confrontation by putting up a fight, initiating an unauthorized duel until either one "team" is incapacitated (HP reaches 0, I will moderate with rolls) or someone gives up.
This would need to be on standby until school resumes in September.
Warning: The troublemaker team would ultimately get double detention.

Once the Dralt ancestors made a name for themselves, their heirs were strictly expected to marry fellow members of nobility (see family tree below). Pericles' great-great grandmother, Evangeline, was the youngest daughter of an English pure-blood line. Her relationship with Captain Darius Dralt was tumultuous; her feelings were based in young love, while he was more attracted to her wealth. She was not intended to marry him- in fact, their son Glen was born out of wedlock, and initially defected from his role as a bastard heir.

Upon reaching adulthood however, he took responsibility for his bloodline, marrying Alanah: the middle daughter of a ship making household. Their relationship was based in obligation, though they were at least friendly with one another. When Glen "disappeared at sea", Alanah took up the mantle of operating his business, something nearly unheard of for a woman in her time. I'm looking for any distant relatives through the two, either linked to Evangeline or Alanah. The stories of their brothers and sisters are very vague and open for interpretation (notice they don't have last names!).

Tldr; your character would be Pericles' 3^rd or 4^th cousin. They could discover this through a library book, through family records, or some similar means. He doesn't have any relatives his age (that he knows of), so despite the distance, he would be excited to treat YC as genuine family. They do not need to be pure-blood as the ancestor may have defected from their responsibilities, marrying outside of tradition.

Your RPG storyline idea: I'm looking for enemies for Ruby, specifically people for her to be mean to or push around. She's a kid with a lot of bottled up anger and a lack of coping mechanisms, as well as ambiguous morals. She's lashing out quite a bit, and I'd be up for short-term or long-term plots. If you have something planned but need someone to play the role of the bully, I'd be up for most of that too.
Additional info: My posting speed tends to be slow, as I have a fairly busy real life. I prefer people who can write more than just the minimum, but I'm not too picky.

it's summer, time to hit the beach! icarus is content to spend his time under the sun umbrella with a good book but [your character] convinces him to leave the safety of the shade for the shoreside. when surfing is brought up, icarus is tempted to pack up and leave but in an act of bravery or foolishness, decides to take [your character]'s offer to teach him surfing. after several failed attempts and tumbling off the board, they hit a breakthrough and the two enjoy the rest of the day that ends in an ice cream break on the dock.

what do you do when you have some juicy gossip on someone? obviously spread a lil rumour and watch the spark catch flame. just make sure you don't accidentally catch yourself on fire when it backfires. icarus, after discovering rather shocking news/drama surrounding [your character], starts a little rumour of his own but it soon grows out of his control. luckily for [your character], icarus has many secrets of his own and needs a taste of his own bitter medicine. mercy or justice, you decide!

icarus experiences his very first panic attack, brought on by a terrible mishap during a charms lesson. with a wrong flick of his wand, he found himself the target of roaring laughter when he found he had not mended a broken ink quill, but instead fused his shoelaces together. while he was able to keep it together during charms, as soon as class was dismissed, the boy runs off to a corridor in a hyperventilative state. the reaction is quite unusual for the steely-faced slytherin, but the pressure to be perfect is enough to break even the strongest of people. thankfully, a kind person manages to keep the boy from breaking down further and perhaps a friendship blossoms from the discord.
