I know what you mean Kayla! Plus it's nice to see physical books on a shelf, it makes me happy to see mine when they're all neat and organised xD
I think I prefer hardbacks - mainly for the aesthetic lol - but paperbacks have their advantages too! Hardbacks are often too big to carry round, and the dust jackets are a bit annoying because they're a bit impractical (and hardbacks often look nicer without the dust jackets on!) but I don't have anywhere to put them except on the books xD Still, they're easier to keep in good condition because the covers don't bend, which is always a plus
With audiobooks, I agree about the multitasking! The only annoying thing is that if I'm doing something that requires a lot of concentration I tend to tune out the audiobook and then I might miss an important bit xD
I haven't read an e-book in a while but their main plus for me is that they're a little less awkward than physical books are - as in, with physical books you generally need two hands to hold it and turn the pages but with ebooks you only need one hand, which can be useful.
