You can choose them, but you have to wait until sixth year and then there's an application process after you learn the patronus charm in homework

You need to wait until you're a 6th year. Alternatively, if you're a 5th year with Prodigal DADA ability, you can also apply for one. So either way, as a 1st year, you need to wait for some years to apply for a patronus of your choice.

The same goes for what your character would see in the mirror of Erised or what amortentia would smell like to them. All of those are just more magical sounding categories than favourite smell or greatest wish.

No, there isn't. The sorting hat is never wrong , if it's not what your character expected, you can use this for further development! How does she take this? Will she tell her parents? Will they be upset? It's all up to you!

Hello, I've come here with two subjects to ask for:
Number one: Where is it possible to use [This] in the titles (Maybe should've asked where is not). Aditionaly, I've been using it for the club, as I used [Flood] and [OOC], however is that allowed to begin with?
Number two: I want to create a reunion to promote the Chess Club in Hogwarts IC, so where is my character instructed to go? Does she have to go IC to a prefect, and then what? Is it possible for students to post in the school bulletin? Am I intended to restrict this calling for my house alone? | Aditional context: I'm talking about pinning a handwritten papyrus saying "Come to play this damn, don't be a Muggle you squidwards"... sort of.
