Did I spend an hour and half half writing a great essay/ finishing fleshing out that outline, only to realize that I fleshed out the wrong version of the outline? Yes, I did. Did I end up writing / fleshing out the other outline in half an out? Yes, yes I did.
Are both essays good? I think so… but I’ll come back when I am less frustrated with them (aka tomorrow) and I’ll look them over.
Has anyone else done this? Or is it just me…?

I did something like that in an exam once. I spent around an hour out of nearly three writing this then realized that there was a question to go with it. Still got my highest mark in English Literature (that was the exam) when I didn't even know there was a question in the first place. Didn't even have time to check back at the end.
