I don't think you have to have a witch/wizard as a parent but you do need to have one of your parents be a Parselmouth and it's Parselmouth not Parseltongue. Parselmouth is what the special talent is and Parseltongue is what a Parselmouth speaks.

Yes but HiO rules are different from HP rules. There are some things in canon HP that don't apply here on HiO. I believe the conversion of knuts-sickles-galleons is different in HP than it is on HiO. Plus things that were known to happen in HP aren't done on HiO. So it doesn't matter if HP does it one way, it matters what way HiO has decided to do it! I know it's confusing, it is!

Hey guys
For some weird reason I got this idea for an rp. Tell me how weird it is

Everyday, you go to the grounds and play with a cute animal (according to you). One day you see the animal changing into a student who is elder than you and is of the opposite gender (just to make the character feel more embarrassed. What would be your reaction?
