It's a YA-ish fantasy novel based on the premise that there is a whole civilisation underground that built our earth and the people on it as a protective shell. The story takes place when the two worlds interact. It explores themes of good and evil, evolution, greed, the value of money and the true meaning of intelligence (lol I'm making this sound so pretentious, I swear it's not)
