Character Backstory:ReducioFirst Instance of Magic:December wasn't named for the month he was born in (though, his parents decided it was a lucky thing nonetheless), but rather, after an old relative on his father's side. His last name came from his mother, which his father never took after marriage. They disliked their father intensely such that so, during the start of every school, he would introduce himself properly, but often request to be called by his surname. Possibly, this is why he takes liking to the teachers who call students by their last names, where most students wrinkle their noses towards it.
Pre-Hogwarts, December's life was pretty good. While they never had the best relationship with their parents, he had a sister five years older who had been his best home-friend all his life, though he got a bit lonely during the school year while she was at Hogwarts (As well as after her graduation, when she began to work far away). Even so, they had sufficient friendships during those times, and on the weekends, he would go to his auntie's house and play with his half-blood cousins. They were around his age, and would be going to Hogwarts a year after him. When he was at home, however-- during week-long breaks, over summer, and, of course, after school-- he would very, very often be subject to his father's temper. Quite often, it ruined weeks on end of what could have been familial normality, though in the case of the two's relationship, it would be odd otherwise. Though, at the end of every day, he would get into bed with his favourite stuffed animal, a dragon his auntie gifted him, his mother would kiss him goodnight, and the next day would be woken to.
When Prometheus turned eleven, they received their acceptance letter from Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, met with much excitement from all in the house, with varying levels of reasons. Funnily enough, this, prompting the absence of December from their household for his schooling, was a large reason both he and his father were happy. Maybe the only time the two agreed on their feelings. Well, soon enough, he would be whisked away to Hogwarts--
--and since, sorted into the Slytherin house! He was looking forward to the start of the school year!ReducioFirst Instance of Magic: December Prometheus's first instance of magic was when they were seven years old, or, rather, turning it. On their seventh birthday, December, curious a child as ever, went to the grocery store with their father. Their father, spiteful the father as ever, said to him that he could go and get chocolate ice cream, which, everyone who knows the boy, knows he despises. After a long game of who-can-glare-harder, a crying December threw what adults liked to call 'temper tantrums'. As was always the case, it did nothing to change their father's mind, and the chocolate ice cream was proceeded to be reached for by his father, much to Prometheus's dismay- it was his birthday, and his father was still choosing this path? I wish I had a kind father, they thought. However, through their furiously tear-filled eyes, Prometheus saw his father's hand recoil from the door, and at the same time heard a sharp sound. There wasn't a distinct noise to it, and in retrospect, it might've even been soft, but it was loud and jarring enough in the moment to make his father flinch. He, and his now slightly pale (but still irked) father laid eyes on the entire selection of ice treats. Right before their eyes, the labels morphed and the cartons wiggled, and when they opened the freezers to look closer, they found that each and every single container's contents was nothing but strawberry ice cream. Hours later, after his cousins and friends arrived, goofed off over dinner, and his auntie herded them outside to play, they were called back for dessert... Their favourite treat, strawberry ice cream. Meanwhile, December's father morosely informed their mother of his first instance of magic.

Astal grew up in the big family manor of the Tarovus magic family, there she didn’t have a lot of fun. She was constantly being pushed to be the best of the family, this is how all the branches of the family compete for the hierarchy. There was an adult hierarchy as well as a kid one. Every year or so there was a competition to update the lists, it had several trials: physical, magical and intellectual. She has always wanted to live like a normal kid and not have to live such a competitive life but her parents didn’t let her, they feared of the repercussions from the rest of the family.
Astal has an older brother named James that is very supportive of her ideas and so they are very close even though they have to hide their relationship. He also attended Hogwarts but he has now ended his seventh year and is studying in a magic law school.
Her parents are both from wizard families, and have also both went to Hogwarts during their younger years. They both work and own a magical library near their house, they sell all sorts of grimoires and scrolls. Her mother was the one that convinced her father to open that library, she was always a bit of a book lover.

The first time Astal used magic was when at 5 years, there was a family dinner in Welsh. She had been continuously been mocked and pushed around by her cousins, and she had become very angry and upset. Her anger had then reached a very high point and was aimed towards her cousins. It happened very quickly, but her cousins’ hairs all got on fire and every one present was now running around trying to suffocate the fire. After this incident she felt relieved because all her anger had gone out and that was like a weight of her shoulders. Her parents were very proud because this showed that their daughter would be able to defend herself if she is harmed.

Before Hogwarts his world was small, quiet, and faintly isolated. He grew up in a modest home on the edge of a village where people knew each other by name but not much beyond that. The village was located in the suburbs of Dublin. His family lived simple. They never struggled, but there was always a sense of restraint that lingered in the house. Conversations were measured and emotions were kept carefully in check. Both of his parents were magical, and his house was what they called pureblood. His mother, Kathleen, was calm and perceptive. She was the home keeper, making sure everything was done and where it needed to be. His father, Declan, was more distant and valued discipline and control above all else. He worked for the Ministry in politics and his goal was for Eric to enter that arena right after school.
He did not grow up surrounded by friends because other children found him difficult to approach. They saw him as too quiet, or too intense, and never quite open enough to invite closeness. He was not unfriendly, but there was always a distance he did not know how to close. At most, there were a few passing acquaintances, but no real friends to speak of. He spent much of his time alone, reading for hours or wandering just beyond the village where it was quiet. He was drawn to places where he could think without noise and interruption.

He was eight years old and too young to understand what magic truly was, only aware that it existed because his parents used it. That afternoon he sat at the kitchen table, staring down at a puzzle that refused to come together no matter how long he studied it. He was getting frustrated, but he was not the type to act out or throw things aside, so the feeling stayed contained.
Then, without warning, something shifted in him, he could feel it. The small and solid object before him lifted slightly from the table, rising just enough to break the rules of the world he thought he understood. It hovered for a brief moment before settling back into place as if nothing had happened. He froze, waiting for it to happen again, but it didn’t. When he finally looked up his mother was watching him. She walked to him without alarm and rested a steady hand on his shoulder. For the first time he became aware of something inside him that had always been there, waiting for him to notice.

Before she got her letter to go to Hogwarts, Amelia Klopper used to watch her parents enchant things, cast spells, and brew potions in the lab. Her mother is a half-blood Auror and her father works in the Ministry of Magic and is muggle born. She also has a brother that is 7 years older than her and he is working as a dragon keeper in a mountain that has many dragons. Her brother has short, silverish blonde hair, her mother has blonde hair, and her dad has short, brown hair. Amelia Klopper loved being with her family and they went exploring in nearby forests every Sunday if her parents had time. She lived in a cool, secret building in the middle of super big grassland with many animals, magical and non-magical. And for sure, she loved to play with them! In her home, there was a lab for doing spells, a broom that swept the floor itself, a flying car, 3 bedrooms and there were 3 floors. She also had a whole bookshelf full of books about spells, animals, dragons, stories and more. There were also some interesting stones and bones she collected from exploring the super big grassland. For most breakfasts, her mother would make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich usually with a small bowl of strawberry ice cream.
First Instance of Magic:

Amelia Klopper's first instance of accidental underaged wandless magic was when she was angry about being small and short and not being able to reach the candy jar on top of the shelf and looked at a bird outside the window and it burst into flames. She got scared about getting angry though. But when she got angry she could sort of control it so she wouldn't burn her animal friends.

- Your trunk cannot have any colored text (sorry), please remove it.
- Your backstory (not including the words in your first instance of magic) need to reach at least 220 words. Yours does not, even if I included your first instance of magic. Pending - Elena, April 18th
Thank you for making the edits requested, however some are still needed!
- Your backstory states your character is born from a pureblooded wizard and a halfblood, and your profile states she is a halfblood. For this to work, we would need your character to have a clear muggle heritage and experience of the muggle world through her half-blooded parent, otherwise your bloodstatus would need to be turned into 'wizardborn'. Refer to this thread for more informations about blood statuses, and please edit this part of your backstory!
- While your brother can be a dragonologist and work in a reserve, magical beasts classified as dangerous would not be accessible to the public in such manner, so your character wouldn't be able to 'visit the dragons every sunday'! Additionally, hippogriffs, unicorns and the other creatures mentionne above are a. dangerous and b. rare creatures, your character wouldn't either be able to play with them, or live near them as they are either in sanctuaries, or in lands hidden far from human company. Please rework that part of your backstory!

Character Backstory:ReducioFirst Instance of Magic: Bolded in backstory above.Scandal did not settle well within the Serebryakovs. That is, at least not openly.
With roots that lie in Russia, where the word serebro (silver) produced its name, the muscovites had quickly planted their boots in wizarding soil. Not for influence, but for something humbler.
They were craftsmen once.
Not merchants, the distinction surely mattered. Where respect forged itself from metals and pride took the form of glittering coins, wares and favors soon weighed little; especially to those with pockets already full. No longer did the Serebryakovs care for building business, but rather building lineage.
Embarrassment held no place among them, not even in the case of Elizaveta.
Previously arranged, the baryshnya fled upon the final clock strike. Not with flair, nor tearful declaration, but with a silent vanishing of obligation. A new life was promised that day, and it would indeed be delivered.
Russia is wide enough to swallow a person whole if they wished it.
And so it did, spitting her out in a town with no reference of the name she'd discarded. Routines became simple, the people even more so. That is, apart from a strange looking man whom she'd exchanged names with on the train. A sniper by trade, he understood burying secrets better than anyone. It was a peaceful match, one steeped in silence.
By the time the baby arrived there was no rumor to spin, nor dust to sweep away. Elizaveta assumed it best to part ways with her slavic roots shortly after, a small town in Bibury quiet enough to house long buried secrets. For much of her youth, Aelina believed herself nothing short of ordinary. This much by design, a world molded to be unremarkable in every aspect of the word. For eight years, the illusion held still.
Magic, however, does not care for what is believed.
The girl was eight when it happened, an act small enough to keep under poorly fastened wraps. No words, only a shot that seemed too accurate for a child of Aelina's nature. Truth be told, it was. A proud father could only assume his marksmanship had been passed down, dark to the fact his own blood coursed nowhere through the girl to begin with.
Powerful families, however, do not forget what belongs to them; even those made in a broken promise.
Everett came for her in winter.

Reason for Pending:After making the changes here, don’t forget to update your encyclopedia page as well so they match.
- Your profile card stated that the residence of your character was in Alnwick. However, you write that her house was in Bibury. Which is the correct one?
- Based on this lore, blood status is very much a societal construct. Aelina's childhood was too vague to define her blood status. Is the sniper's father a wizard? Did she live in a household with magic clearly practised? If both answers are no, your character is a half-blood, even though she wasn't the biological daughter of the sniper, because it means that she lived and experienced a Muggle lifestyle.
- Please separate the first instance of magic (FIoM) part from the Backstory. Please elaborate more on the setting of her FIoM. What made her shoot too accurate for a child her age? What did she shoot?
- We need further clarification on Everett and his purpose, as he seems to be related to the previous paragraph. Who is he? What did he do to Aelina?

Date: December 20th, 2020
Clarks condition as a werwolf is not the result of fate, but of a single night shaped by absence, secrecy and guilt. His father Marcus, and auror, part of the famous Auror-duo with his wife Eleanor, was bitten during a mission, but he and Eleanor decided to hide it from Clark. It was a well kept secret between the both of them, becoming jet another thing Clark never knew about his parents. Together they managed his condition in secret. Around that time, Clark‘s insomnia began. He noticed his parents weren\`t staying longer anymore, so he stayed wide awake, waiting for his parents to come home. But over time, sleep became something difficult, something unknown in Clark‘s life. Something that caused what happened next.
On one full moon, everything went wrong.
First things first, Marcus had run out of Wolfsbane potion, leaving him without control. Eleanor not having much time left, decided to bring him to the Hewan Woods, far outside Edinburgh, and left him in a concealed, warded space in the deep forest. She planned to return in the morning. But just as she turned to leave, she heared a scream.
At the same time, Clark had gone out with Finlay, unable to sleep, carrying his telescope to watch the stars. His brown tote bag hang loosely over his small shoulder. The thought of having another astronomy lesson with Finlay felt calm, and peacefull to him, a contrast to his non-stop overworking brain.
Everything was great, until something moved in the dark.
Marcus saw them.
The attack came suddenly, a blur of motion, a low, terrifying growl. Finlay reacted fast, trying to pull Clark back, but Clark froze for a moment too long. Marcus slammed into him, knocking him hard to the ground.
Than the bite happened.
Teeth digging deep into his slender body, diving past the fabric of his pants, like it was nothing more than another layer of his skin.
Marcus’ teeth sank deep into Clark‘s side, and Clark screamed, a raw, helpless sound that echoed through the woods. The shock of the bite had slacked, leaving him vulnerable and open to the wave of pain that came crushing down on him. The Pain was overwhelming, blinding even. For a moment, there was nothing else: no thoughts, no movement, just the feeling of something ugly tearing into him.
Then Marcus was gone.
Eleanor had returned. she casted the Incarcerous spell, in combination a flood of following strong spells, to get Marcus away. Her focus was immediate - on him, not her own son Clark.
Clark was left behind, bleeding out on the grass beneath the shining moon.
Finlay stayed. shaken but determined, he helped Clark. He brought him to the nearest wizarding hospital. It was Finlay who made sure he survived. Eleanor arrived later on, composed, acting like the concerned mother, her heart told her to be, not her mind,
After that night, everything changed.
Eleanor had told Marcus what happened. The guilt that followed didn‘t bring them closer to Clark, it drove them further away. They stayed gone loger, especially during full moons, avoiding the house entirely.
The bite that Marcus left on Clark left behind a permanent mark on his body. A deep scar along his side, jagged and impossible to ignore. As he grew older, it became a reminder he could never escape. Even if it wasn‘t able to be seen beneath his Clothes, it still did have a an impact on his appearance. Clark‘s features grew sharper, nothing a 6 year old should go through. His eyes carried a new level of tiredness, that never fully left. Even in stillness, there was something tense about him, as if he was always holding something back.
But the deeper changes were inside him.
His insomnia worsened. Nights became heavier, filled with restless thoughts and a silence that no longer felt just empty, but suffocating. The full moons brought pain, fear and something uncontrollable, something he had to face alone, without guidance or support.
Clark learned to deal with it on his own.
Finlay made sure, he always had wolfsbane Potion in the house, and cleared the basement for his transformation. Hanging up chains, and made sure, to use a sound proof spell, whenever Clark was turning.
After this incident happened Clark became quieter, more distant, more of something no child should feel, in combination of the awareness of what he could become.
What truly shaped him after this incident wasn't the change in his appearance, the awareness of being something people even in his own world called a ‚beast‘, it was the silence, the absence that followed, it was the moment Clark realised he had been left behind completely.

Clark was born on October 3rd in 2013 in Edinburgh, scotland, into a wizarding family. His parents, Eleanor and Marcus Stellan were both witches and wizards, known as a highly respected Auror-Duo. They both were rarely home. Their work kept them away for long hours, often leaving early, not returning for a few days straight. But even when they were present, they seemed rather distracted, caught up in their own thoughts or responsibilities. The house was quiet most of a time, becoming a normal thing when time passed. It didnt feel like home to Clark. There was no comforting warmth after a harsh day, no parents with soothing words, just three souls living under one roof, existing next to eachother.
The house Clark grew up in, was a rather upper-middle class row house, with creaky wooden floors, dim lightning, and a wild garden. His room was painted in a king‘s blue, decorated with levetating candles, and flying stars. His bed was this wooden crafted king sized one, with to many pillows on it, a thick blanket. His shelfs were full of Books full of subjects he loved, beside some quidditch merch and his big wooden wardrobe. Beside his nightstand stood a massive Telescope, he used often, when the sky was clear, and he couldn‘t sleep.
His insomnia didn‘t come all at once.e, it built slowly. At first, Clark stayed awake waiting for his parents to come home, listening for the sound of the door or footsteps nearing his room. But the waiting turned into restlessness, when he realised they maybe weren‘t coming back. And this restlessness turned into sleepless nights. Eventually, even when the house was quiet and there was nothing to ait for, he couldn‘t sleep. That‘s why Clark began to distract himself, trying to will himself away from those thoughts, that came back every night, stronger than the night before. He sat alone in his room, watching the stars through his telescope, and and calculated angles, or just kept reading a book.
Clark also didn‘t have many friends. The only person he regularly spent time with, was his wizard neighbour Finlay Stewart. Finlay was in his mid fourties, living alone, having no kids. He was everything, Clark wasn‘t. Loud, talkative, and full of energy and stories from his life. He filled every visits with new stories, with new words, Clark had to register, had to acknowledge were there. Sometimes being this caught up, he didn‘t realise Clark wasn‘t responding. Still, he kept showing up, knocking on the door, trying to include Clark whenever his parents weren‘t home. Their friendship was uneven. Finlay talked, Clark listened. He showed him things, gave him opportunities, his parents couldn‘t give him. And those small gestures mattered much to Clark, more than Finlay could know, even if the boy never showed it.

Clark was eight when it happened. He was at home, alone again. The only one who visited him that day was the family‘s neighbour Finlay. Clarks day till Finlays comming wasn‘t exactly great. He was frustrated and angry at his parents, for not being home this much. Finlay and him were in the living room. Clark was venting on Finlay, about his parents not being around as uch as parents should be. His anger rose with every word that came out of his mouth. It felt so big, to heavy to carry. at some point his anger spilled over, Clark far to lost in his rage didn‘t realise it, till something happened, till the air around them changed. A small flame flickered to life at the edge of Finlay‘s hat. It turned big in just a moment, and set Finlays whole hat on fire. Clark‘s breath hitched. The anger drained instantly, replaced by a wave of cold fear. everything felt frozen. Than the flame magically disappeared.

Elizabeth Rose Moore née Carré is a pureblood witch of French descent, while Theodore Moore is from a line of Moore's that remain pure incidentally.
On November 8th, they give birth to their child in their home at Oxford, England at night withe the waxing crescent at it's peak with its moonlight shining brightly as it reflected on their child’s eye when it first open, hence the "Lune" in their name. And continuing the tradition of Elizabeth's family of naming their child after flowers, Elizabeth and Theodore given them the name, Aster Lune Moore.
Aster has dark and unruly hair. Aster pretty much looks like their mother in male form with the signature beauty mark under their right eye from their mother's side but with eyes are in honey-colored just like their father's.
During their childhood, Aster was always with their mother. Unlike other married pureblood women, who typically liked to throw and attend balls (not that she doesn't like to, she would occasionally), Elizabeth preferred to busy herself with her own potion shop, often with her son. This sparked Aster's interest in potions.
Theodore would also take them to visit their aunt, Olivia, who married Theodore's second cousin once removed, who's an Herbologist that supplies for their shop. Olivia was a Muggle who practices the "Muggle" ways of witchcraft, who taught them about herbs and crystals, that they used for her craft, which resembled potion-making, deepening their fascination with the process.

Aster's first instance of magic was when they were 6 years old, when Theodore was picking them up from their mother's shop for their tutoring, and Aster was throwing a tantrum because they didn't want to go study. The cauldrons began bubbling up as the fire that heats up the cauldron fires up. During that day, Elizabeth had to close up the store as the batch for that day's sales was ruined and sent out mails of apologies for late deliveries of their potions due to some... mishaps.

I did have to alter your trunk - your trunk had colored text and we cannot accept colored text. As for why, it is because some people like to give me eye cancer and use neon or near unintelligible colors, preventing me (and other mods) from being able to effectively read their stats. Because colors are subjective and there is an opening for "my color does not cause eye cancer" and mods all having a different opinion on what is death by viewing someone's stats, we had to implement "no colors". While most mods make the suer edit this, it was the literal only thing holding you back from being Indexed, so I did it for you. I just do not like to make changes without notification so here that is.

Delilah Morrigan was brought up in an atmosphere that was peaceful and somewhat old-fashioned. Her family was not overly active in the community, and as such, the majority of her life was spent within the same small group of individuals she had known all her life. She has an older sister whom she respects and admires, although she also has a bit of a competitive edge when it comes to her sister. She has twin younger brothers who are loud, boisterous, and full of energy. She may pretend to be annoyed by them at times, but she has always looked out for them and done the best she could to help them.
She was brought up in a family situation that was stable and had a loving feeling. Her love was demonstrated by being present and having deep understanding. This has led to the fact that she has become an observant and somewhat careful person who considers the details about individuals before acting. She has learned from an early age to read individuals’ intentions and emotions. She has tended to observe before putting her trust in individuals.
She has had close friends throughout her life and has not had difficulty making new connections. This has been partly due to her soft nature and the fact that she was unexpectedly warm. Another reason has been the fact that she has been observant and has the capacity to sense if something was not quite right. She would then put distance between herself and the individuals in question.

Delilah had always been a shy kid, a kid who observed much more than she said. One day, when Delilah’s sister was playing with a music box, Delilah asked if she could play with it. Delilah’s sister said no and dismissed Delilah without much thought.
Delilah didn’t do what most would expect when dismissed like this—she didn’t cry, and she didn’t yell. She just stared.
The room became... still.
One second later, the music box closed on its own, and the music stopped playing mid-tune. The music box then slid across the table, moving from slow to fast, and landed neatly in Delilah’s lap.
No one said a word.
Delilah’s twin toddlers stopped playing and stared, Delilah’s sister stared at Delilah, and even Delilah looked down at the music box like she didn’t understand what had just happened.
But then, just like that, everything was fine and normal again.
Delilah looked down at the music box and even had a tiny smile on her face, like nothing out of the ordinary had just occurred.

I was born in America, in New York to be precise. I moved here when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I don’t really remember. I think I moved cause my father wanted me to go to Hogwarts. Before I went to Argyle Primary I was homeschooled in New York. I'm half blood which is probably why . My mother is a muggle and my father is a wizard. I grew up as an only child. Sometimes only child’s think that they would LOVE a brother or sister, I don’t think I would. I always want to be my best, even though I had no one to compete with. I went to Argyle Primary School in London. I also did extra work at home with my mom. She taught me all about the muggle world and how it works while my father taught me how magic works. It had me very confused because right before my father what Wingardium Leviosa was, my mother was explaining to me how physics worked. In my house it was completely normal to have wizarding stuff as well as muggle stuff in my house. For example there was Hogwarts; A History right next to The Secret Garden. (My absolute favorite book.) Although I believed that my father should have put them in a more secret place because I had friends over time to time. Although, I was careful who I was good friends with because I blabber a lot sometimes, and I could accidentally spill about the Wizarding world. But I had a few good friends from Argyle
Primary. Their names were Lia and Tina. Crazy! Their names rhymed! Although then around when we were 11, Tina pulled away a bit but we still stayed good friends because our parents knew each other..

My first instance of magic was when I was moving here from America around when I was about 5 or 6. Just because my parents decided that they were going to. My mother and father were helping me clear out out dusty attic because they were building me my secret hideout. It was going to be filled with books, comfy couches, with fairy lights for lighting. Then I felt this tingling sensation in my nose . I tried to hold back the inevitable. A sneeze. It came but it wasn't normal. Instead of snot it was gold sparkling shimmering glitter.
STATUS: Pending, Lesmana, 5 April
Reason for Pending:
- Please remove the first instance of the magic part in the backstory section. It has its own section. Without the first instance of magic, the backstory is still under 220 words. Please tell us a little bit more about your character before going to Hogwarts.
