ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hello everyone! Wow, when was the last time I said that?

It's been a long time indeed! And what better time than now to sit down and have a little chat

So! Being the busy bee I am and have been for the last while, many of the RPs we've planned/hoped to do, we didn't get round to doing. For that, I sincerely apologise.

Since everyone is back to school/work/vacationing on the moon, I have decided that rather than wait for people to suggest full group RPs that might not get completed due to everyone's differing availability, I figured we could all scale back and spread some kindness in smaller and more manageable ways! BUT! That's not to say we can't have RPs! I'll dive into this a little later...

Once a month, I will set an OOC task (or multiple!) for everyone to do at their own leisure. These will range from creative tasks (banners and images), literary tasks (short sentences and notes) and some wacky tasks (TBC ) - the aim for all of these is the same; to send to our lovely folk across the site, whether it be student or staff, new and tenured, and spread that sweet, sweet positivity! They'll always be super easy and cheap as chips effort required

If there's a day in the month that celebrates something - September has the Autumn Equinox, International Day of Peace, World Heart Day, World Tourism Day and World Hobbit Day for example! - We can certainly do something to celebrate it/them using the OOC task system!

And as for the RPs... If you have an idea that you want to execute, simply speak out and share it! And rather than ask me for permission, you can pitch the idea and form it with other fellow members - a little bit like an RPG Request, LAOK style!

So what do we all think? I'd love to hear thoughts, feedback and any ideas!

That would be great! I have an idea too, if anyone would be interested I was thinking since fall is about to start, we could each write a haiku about summer turning into fall?

Haikus are not very difficult and are only 3 lines long, the basic principles are:

1. The first line has 5 syllables

2. The second line has 7 syllables

3. The third line has 5 syllables

- A haiku always includes an element of nature somehow

If anyone has a better idea, feel free to share! I also don't want to sound like I'm trying to stop Em from being the club leader- this was just an idea that came to mind!

September Specialties

Autumn Equinox - Monday is the Equinox! What does that mean? Well! It's the day that marks the end of Summer and the start of Autumn!

OOC Task: With inspiration from Lyanna's idea, write a haiku for the upcoming Equinox! You can write one or many as you like! And! If you owl me yours, I'll put them all together in a little collage and will post the group's effort right here on Monday!

National Chocolate Milk Day (27/09) - September is a time where lots of food is celebrated throughout the month; white chocolate, butterscotch pudding and American pot pie, to name a few. Next week is Chocolate Milk Day! Hmm... Chocolate...

OOC Task: Send an image of some tasty chocolate milk to a friend, or to someone at random on the site! Send it to them via owl with a little heartfelt message to them. Spread that chocolatey goodness!

October Oddities

Halloween Countdown - October is known for its Halloween aura! So, as we await the day where we can spook and startle our friends, let's spread a little something so we can get ready for trick-or-treating!

OOC Task: Send an icon/image of a sweet (or bag of sweets) to someone on the site via owl! And make sure they don't nibble on them before Halloween!

World Food Day (16/10) - Food, glorious food~! Nothing else to say there!

OOC Task: Send in your favourite food and flavours!
