Replying to Eris Fawley
Mentions Rhea Bishop, Max Avery.

𝓤pon the mention of Rhea's name, Katya felt a sense of excitement in her chest as she realized she had guessed right. Rhea was the mastermind behind the gown, which made sense. They did appear to coordinate now that she thought about it. "Ah, Rhea. She is too good with picking out dresses, is she not?" She replied, then took the move to take Eris away from the food table.
𝓔ris's reaction to Katya's actions caused her to grin, glad that she didn't have to communicate with the swamp boy as well. Although he hadn't seemed too bad when they met - up until she found out he was more than likely a descendant of a dark magic follower or something. She was still weary of him, considering she was sure that he was a user of the dark arts, but if Eris wanted to be friends with him, that wasn't Katya's business. She lead Eris to a table covered with a purple tablecloth, a vase filled with a colourful array of flowers acting as the centerpiece.
𝓣he overall setting of the ball was marvelous, even though she was positive that her parents would be able to top it without effort. She pulled out her own seat, leaving Eris to do the same if she wanted to, then tucked it back in once she was seated. One of her ankles crossed over the other, and she placed her forearms on the table, interlocking her fingers together as she looked at the other girl, watching her talk. That was when she noticed that she didn't seem to increase in height, meaning she must have been wearing flats. Of course, it was something that the raven-haired girl expected, but she hoped she was wearing shoes at least.
𝓣he other girl expressed that her 'date' happened to be running late, asked if she thought he would still come. Katya pondered on what she should say on the subject, biting onto her bottom lip as she tried to choose between two options that she had as a response. Well, why not use both? She noticed her gaze had gone to her hands, and she drew her gaze back up to Eris. "A lady does not need a date to enjoy their time at an event. Going around and talking is much more.. I forget the word..." She trailed off, her cheeks turning a little pink in embarrassment. Nevertheless, she carried on, "And dates do not like to stay around for that. But I do not see why he wouldn't come."
𝓢he probably could have done a better job with her words, but she hoped that Eris got the point. Even if her 'date' didn't come, she would enjoy herself. Whether or not she could somehow ensure that, Katya wondered. But if her date did come, Katya could most likely survive on her own in this situation. Or find Rhea and bother her once again.

“You would not call Muggle borns people if you knew what i knew Aureila. I told you already what they have done and yet you will defend them still. Defend the creatures like they are anything but monster even though that is giving them more credit than they deserve “ Charles said in a dark voice, The anger he felt for the girl returning. How dare she defend those horrible muggle borns. How dare she stand up for them after all they have done to pure bloods. Was the girl so blinded by them she fails to see what they have become. Had he not told her the story of what they did to purebloods and yet even that did not seem to convince her
He then noticed what he assumed was anger. Was it a nerve he hit that the girl almost said what he assumed would of been a curse word. It must of been a nerve he hit when he mentioned blood status. “ Well Why would a blood traitor such as yourself care about your blood status. Maybe we should make a new one called Muggle lover just for you and your pathetic family. Yeah I think we should.. Muggle lover.. Not as bad as a Mud Blood but close enough “ He said in a dark voice as he turned attention to the other girl. When the other girl did not say what her blood status he was suspicious of the girl who only mentioned her name to him. A pure blood would never hide their blood status. Which could mean one thing.. Well in his mind anyway it meant one thing.
“ Oh Winifrey just telling me your name is not good enough. I asked you for your blood status.. Unless of course your ashamed of it. But why would you be ashamed of it unless it meant that your a mud blood.. Or a half blood. Or a blood traitor. Which one of those are you Winifrey. If you answer i just may tell you my name “ He said in a dark voice as he turned his attention back to Auriella and waited to see how the two girls will respond to him. Once again wary he was being set up but not caring he was having to much fun now in his own way. Maybe it was a good thing he came to this forsaken ball, As he was having fun making people angry with him and hitting nerves. Well he assumed anyway that he was making the girl named Aurelia angry with him and that he hit a nerve.

Marissa looked back at him. James' stomach was assaulted by strange butterflies, which he had experienced before on Muggle rollercoasters, but that hadn't been quite like this.
Marissa was beautiful. James didn't even notice what all of the other girls were wearing and how compared to them, Marissa's outfit wasn't as poofy and elegant. But if he had noticed, he wouldn't have cared. Marissa waved shyly over at James, adjusting her hair so that it was behind her back. Her hair caught James' eye too. It wasn't just Marissa's dress and shoes or whatever she was wearing that made her look stunning, it was her as herself too.
Finally managing to snap out of the embarassing trance he had been in for perhaps a second too long, James straightened his tie one more time, even though it didn't need anything of the sort, and made his way over to Marissa.
What should he do with his hands? Put them in his pockets? Just swing them as he walked? Oh gosh, why was walking suddenly so hard???
Before he knew it, he was in front of Marissa.Â
"H-hey." he managed to get out, sounding quieter than he wanted. He cleared his throat and tried again. "Hi, Marissa!" Now, James sounded and felt a bit more comfortable.
"How are you? You look really nice, by the way."

Her cousin smiled at Odette "Well then I guess I could just introduce you to my fri- acquaintances. I know people! Like, um, I know Adam! Annnd I know...actually that's basically it. You already know Ava and Eri. We suck at friend making."
Odette laughed sadly. "Yeah we really do, we probably need to work on that." She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest as she watched all of the other students. Odette could never get the hang of the waltz, no matter how simple it could be. Ballet however, she was good at. She always managed to step on the young boys' feet when she was dancing at the balls she was forced to attend.
Odette wanted to dance but she didn't know a lot of the boys here and she would probably embarass herself anyways so she just stood by the wall. She was grateful that her cousin came to talk to her but she doubted Aravis would dance with her. She would probably get frustrated at Odette for stepping on her toes too many times.
Odette sighed again. She looked over at her cousin and smiled but it probably came out more like a grimace. "We're pretty depressing aren't we?"

OC: Looking to interact. If unwelcome, I will delete my post.
IC:
She was not much for social gatherings such as these. Girls overdressed, feeling like gaudy princesses. The boys like awkward penguins shuffling about. The hormonal surge of adolescence was still a few years away one would have thought, but some children seemed more like child-like puppets with matured marionette manipulators pulling the metaphorical strings. It was fascinating, even to the Slytherin. She was an observer, a dedicated watcher of people and the passage of time. It was not that she was barred from interacting, it was that she should not. Not that she could not or that she would not. In fact, she often did much to the chagrin of those around her but her passion was undeniable and her will much like her whim she was unwilling to forfeit.
Erin was not a tall girl nor was she a dramatic beauty. Her dyed hair her most distinctive trait, she did not want to blend in with the rest of them. In a sea of monotony she did not want to fade away like the rest. Her hair was simply brushed and left down, she more often than not wore it pulled back with messy strands framing her face. That was formal enough when she was at a dance with nobody to impress unlike some of the others whom had been preening for hours, likely agonizing over dresses for weeks. She wore what she wanted with confidence, not because she was poor but because she was proud. Too proud to submit to their pedestrian expectation she stood in the periphery, her arms crossed in front of her as she listened and watched.
There was a loud mouth blathering on about Muggles as if they were a contagion. "The loudest ones were always the ones with the most fear," she commented to nobody in particular. She knew this from experience. "Muggles are an unfortunate, backwards race... unfamiliar with their own history, hilariously superstitious and sadly oblivious. But, right now you're making those from dignified houses look bad," she made a waving motion with her hand. "Are you so concerned about blood status because you lack? Are you the love child of a deviant wife or is that simply your secret fear?" She was digging of course, not because she cared about Muggles or about whoever was a part of this debate but because she was a cruel girl.
As for whatever they were -- mudbloods, muggleborns, mugglelovers, purebloods lacking backbone or pedigree to defend their line, it did not matter. She would give them a discerning glance, not really worth her time unless they had something to offer. Charles reminded her of Marcus in most ways, from the pride, the big mouth and the height that for an eleven year old suggesting he was compensating for something lacking elsewhere. Either that, or his ancestor had an unfortunate encounter with a giant, making him less 'pure' than he seemed to act.
"Love your..." she really did not like anything about them, they were so commonplace. She internally sighed. "Shoes," she concluded trying to find something tolerable and finding nothing. "First generation? Mixed? None of that really matters here," she lied. Status was everything. And ripping down the status of a pure-blood heir and potential rival, unlikely future husband was more important than disparaging something so far below her. "Don't worry about him, from the looks of him he has a bit of giant in his lineage anyways." She shook her head, it was just a rumor but for all she knew it was true. "Giants aren't wizards," she would whisper loud enough for Charles to overhear with a smirk. Â

Charles eyebrows went up as he heard a girl speak behind him. He was waiting for both Auriela and her friend to respond to him when all of the sudden he heard another girl speak. He turned to face the girl and did a once over. Not impressed by her looks or her dress he was about to say something when she kept on talking before had a chance too commenting on his shoes for some reason or trying too. But then the girl began to insult him and his family. Accusing his family of breeding with giants or having relations with one. How dare she insult him.. How dare she ever speak those words to him.Why because he was tall just like his father and grandfather were. He was angry now and there was nothing that would contain it. Not when someone insults him and his father. No he would not stand for it not when his family reputation was on the line.
“ I do not lack blood status girl. I do not lack pure blood status because my family is pure blood unlike yours which going by how you addressed me surely is not pure blood. Everything i do is to protect pure bloods from the likes of Mudbloods and half bloods who seek to kill them. “ He said as he took out his wand and played around with it a bit before speaking again “ How dare you insult my family girl.. How dare you insult my Honor. You have no right girl. YOU have no right to say those words. My family has no giants in them all of the males were tall. None of the woman in my family ever cheated with anyone. But you dare insult me and my family. HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY FAMILY AND HONOR. “ He yelled in a dark voice as he played with his wand some more. Oh he was angry and he was not able to contain it.
“ I am a Multiple Generation York for your information. My family is proud of who we are, We are proud to be pure bloods, Our family has gone to do many wonderful things. But you dare insult us by saying we have giants blood IN OUR LINEAGE. How dare you “ The anger was now flowing though him as he looked around at the tables filled with punch and food. He pointed his wand at the nearest one and yelled “Incendio!”. And watched as He pointed at another table with his wand and yelled at “ Incendio!” He would do this multiple times not caring at all about what would happen. He watched with glee now looking around him wondering what his fellow students will think now. How would they react.. How would the professors react to him. He could care less if he got in trouble. He was in rage and insulted and he was going to get his revenge.

Blossom Ball 2018
From the distance, the Bulgarian man was watching the scene - eyeing all of the participants with a keen eye. Some were dressed for the occasion, some seemed overdressed. But overall, he was glad to see no one showed up in their uniform - not that it would be an issue. His hands buried themselves deep within the confines of his suit pants and shrugged his shoulders as the coat affixed itself. Balls were nothing new to him, participating in them was a different beast though.Â
What he was here for was for added security and that was a role he planned to take seriously. Anything could happen and it would be in the best interest of the school to ensure that this highly crowded event wouldn't go awry. Most of the students were familiar faces, but their names eluded him. All he needed to know was if they were behaving or not, which already seemed to be too difficult for most of them. The man did not understand what was so hard about just attending an event as it should, everything seemed to turn into some sort of affair.Â
It had barely begun and Sergei could sense the atmosphere thickening like smoke from a wildfire. Fire. For a split second, he could see a student raise their wand. Now what he didn't anticipate was the fool actually casting a spell in the middle of the crowded room. A few screams resounded and many of the others scrambled from the inferno. "Merlin's bea - " The older man drew his wand not a moment too soon and pointed it at the Slytherin's wand. From his chest, he bellowed, "Expelliarmus!" to disarm him. Even after this, he strode forward to take care of the fire before it got out of hand.Â
A boiling anger welled up in the man's chest, he muttered something under his - anyone close by would probably catch the spell 'aguamenti'. From the tip of the walnut wand, a jet stream of water slammed into the fire that the boy cast. Perhaps a few of the students would get soaked in the process, but it was the price to pay to save whatever this boy had set ablaze. Not even less than a minute, the man turned to the boy.Â
There was no hiding the rage behind his eyes and yet he found some composure to not let it overwhelm him. Many things were threatening to spill from his lips, but the old man knew he wasn't dealing with his old students. The wand was holstered and the hand that gripped it pointed towards the exit, "You.[CHARLES YORK] Get yourself to the Headmaster's Office and do not come back. Leave the wand, you will not need it. If I do not find you there in the next thirty minutes, you might find yourself somewhere much worse."Â
Whatever this student was thinking, Sergei did not like it. Whatever lead to this, he had no knowledge of and he didn't exactly intend on finding out. The professor didn't have much to say to the boy directly, but he would have if this was in a different setting. Worse things would have been done if this was in Durmstrang. But this was Hogwarts, so he carried himself with as much discretion as he could.

OC: Hope you don't mind if I join in
Asteria was well into her countdown of boredom, the night seemed to drag on with no end in sight. She wondered if she was the only one having a miserable time, probably not but it seemed like it. Moving from her now rather comfortable position, Asteria decided to walk around for a bit, see if there was anyone to talk too at least. Looking around, Asteria noticed how crowded it had gotten since she arrived in the ballroom. It was filled with a variety of students from all houses, all years, and of all ages. A majority of the students were having a good time, laugh, drinking, eating, some were even dancing.
Of course there were a few like her, who weren't enjoying the festivities tonight, she wondered if she should try and talk to any of them. 'Maybe then it would be less boring, if only just a little.' Asteria thought to herself. The professors seem to be having a good time from what Asteria could see, interacting with the students, while over seeing that everything was alright. She had to hand it to them, Asteria could never handle something like this, she felt. She would go mad watching over hundreds of student. That's why she felt she could never be a professor, a little far off in the distance, Asteria spotted Wini. She seemed to be talking to her roommate, Aurelia and a rather tall Slytherin boy.
Asteria thought about going over to greet the girl, but she didn't want to interrupt whatever their conversation was. Walking over to a nearby table, Asteria took a seat and played with some of the flower petal that seemed to have been plucked, or had simply fallen on to the table.Playing with a petal, Asteria wondered if she should just go do her homework. Despite there being a ball, the professors had no problem with giving them quite a bit of homework to do. Asteria didn't mind though, it's good to have something to do when you otherwise have nothing. Suddenly, as though out of thin air, a loud, anger-filled, dark voice boomed from the other side of the room. Asteria turned her head, to see what the commotion was all about. It was the boy that was talking to Wini, he seemed deeply upset about something, Asteria noticed another had seemed to join the fray? or maybe she was just a bystander.
"...But you dare insult us by saying we have giants blood IN OUR LINEAGE. How dare you." Asteria heard the boy say. Asteria position in her seat slowly straightened up as she listened to the argument. “Incendio!” the boy yelled as he pointed his wand toward the snack table “Incendio!” he shouted again, aiming at another table near by. Quickly, Asteria got up and moved toward where Wini was, "Wini!" Asteria called out as she hurried over. "Wini, what's going on?! What's happened?!" Asteria asked, her voice full of concern for her friend.

What was this guy's deal? Winifrey had dealt with a couple of kids in the past year that were not that nice, but this kid reached a whole new level of shallow. It made her lips curl in disgust slightly. The way he talked to Aurelia made her blood boil, but she forced herself to keep her face neutral. Her fists would have been the only thing showing her distaste as they clenched and relaxed, a habit that she had unfortunately picked up back in Cambridge.
Winifrey was just about to let out a snarky comment when another girl approached. She looked familiar, and Winifrey was sure she had seen her from somewhere. What she said made her brows raise in disbelief. The thought of there being more than one Charles made her roll her eyes internally. Winifrey would be lying if she said she was not peeved.
These two deserve each other.
This was Winifrey's singular thought as the girl continued to speak. About ninety-two percent of what was being said went straight over her head. What kind of eleven-year old speaks like this? To be truthful, Winifrey did not even want to know.
But it was amusing to see Charles' reaction. He seemed angry at whatever the new girl said, even going so far as to pull out his wand, playing with it as he spoke. Instinctively, the small brunette stepped back, grabbing lightly onto Aurelia's arm. Winifrey was not stupid, and if this kid was mad and was as violent as she thought he was, this could go terribly wrong. But at the same time, she did not want to fully walk away. In fact, part of her wanted to see what would happen. Probably a dumb idea, but exciting at the same time.
Then Charles started yelling, obviously angry before he turned towards the tables, lifted his wand, and cast Incendio several times. Winfrey yelped in surprise, slightly caught off guard. The light that came from the spell was bright, especially at how close she was. It in fact the heat hurt her eyes, which had widened in response to the turn of events. Her grip on Aurelia's arm tightened as she roughly pulled both of them away, walking backwards to get away from the heat of the flames.
What the hell? This guy was absolutely insane.
Winifrey was beyond grateful when Professor Yornikovych stepped in, quickly disarming the out of control first year. She watched the encounter, her eyes tearing up in response to the heat as her grip on her friend loosening as she realized the chaos had diminished. Thank heavens.
"Wini!" Asteria called out as she hurried over. "Wini, what's going on?! What's happened?!"
Asteria's voice reached her ears first as she proceeded to wipe her now dried eyes. They stung a little, but she was sure it was nothing too bad. "I don't know! He just went insane," She spoke out, although her voice shook slightly. Winifrey cleared her throat quickly. "You both okay?" She asked the two girls, Asteria and Aurelia, lightly touching Aurelia's elbow since they had both been close to the uncontrolled flame.

Blossom Ball 2018

Wow, this certainly has gone a bit out of hand. I never expected that to happen...
The girl's features twisted into a scowl when Charles said that Muggles were people. They were people. They had humanity in them, how could he say such a thing? Aurelia was obviously getting agitated by the seconds that passed. Then a horrid word dropped into the conversation, Mudblood. Her eyes widened in disbelief. Was he calling her own friend a mud blood, a racist term used on Muggles. Who did the boy think he was? It was as if her defence mechanism was suddenly turned on and she felt the sudden urge to punch his face like how she broke the nose of the bully in her primary school.
Aurelia would certainly have thrown a punch if another girl hadn't walked up to them. She had purple hair that was hard to go unnoticed and stand out among the other students in the ballroom. The girl opening her mouth and a words flooded out of it, many of them sharp and seemed to have angered the boy even more. Aurelia would never be a able to speak like her, she had her words picked carefully and Aurelia didn't know that eleven year olds could speak the way she did.
Angry students and wands weren't a great combination. They were celebrating the end of the school years and the first years would already have learnt a few defensive spells. Winifrey clearly knew that as she gently pulled on Aurelia's slim bicep, Aurelia took a step back. Then the girl with purple hair threw an insult at him, one she knew would undeniably go terribly room. She had insulted his pureblood status.
Aurelia screamed as Charles pointed his wand to the nearest table and a fireball shot out from its tip. The fire devoured the food on the table.
"Godverdomme! Wat de hell!" Aurelia screamed in her native language as the boy shot another fireball towards another table, but this time, it had almost grazed her arm, the heat still could be felt. The boy had lost his mind.
Aurelia took out her own wand in attempt to stop the boy but the wand flew from his grasp as the transfigration professor stormed towards the table. He had extinguished the fire with a spell, If Aurelia had heard correctly, it was aguamenti. She took a mental note of the incantation. She might attempt to use it if another God damned maniac tried to set the whole room on fire. Charles was going to be in deep trouble. Aurelia shouldn't have invited him in the first place.
Aurelia coughed violently as the smoke from the extinguished fire filled her nose. Her lunched burned from the heat. She turned towards Winifrey, other than her tearing eyes, she was alright. Another girl had noticed the blazing tables and had ran up to Winifrey.
"Yes I'm alright," Aurelia said, her voice still coarse from the smoke. But she flinched when Winifrey touched her elbow. It stung, a majority of her left arm felt the same. It probably came to close to the fire.
"I think my arm is a little burnt, but is not that bad, it really just feels like a bad sunburn," Aurelia said. If she were to go to the hospital wing, it would mean she would miss the rest of the bloomfest ball. Her shoulder was already red and swelling and stung badly when she brushed her finger across it. It would be stubborn not to head to the hospital wing, Aurelia just wanted to enjoy the event and maybe even dance, but now she couldn’t. If she ever saw Charles again, she would punch his nose.
Then she felt stinging in her eyes, it was tears. She knew it wasn’t from the extinguished fire but rather from the wave of emotions. It was her fault for inviting he boy to the ball, he wouldn’t be ruining the event for everybody in the first place. The girl’s intentions were meant to be good, hoping that he might change his mind about muggles and muggle-borns, clearly it didn’t turn out well. She was foolish to think such, she should have noticed the signs during the meeting in the study room. The purple table cloths were now burnt black and the food were unedible. Aurelia stiffled a sob as she wiped her tears, but they still continued to roll down her cheeks.
“The smoke is irritating my eyes,” She lied. She was quite embarrassed that she was crying during an occasion that was supposed to be joyous especially in a pretty dress.
