ReducioI apologize for any typos, I forgot to do this post and am doing it from bed on my phone
Bubba was now quite simply offended. After everything that happened, everyone that had died, it had all come back to him. Why now? He talked too much. How the hell else were they supposed to figure out who the wolves were? They hadn't taken a vow of silence, they hadn't been told to keep quiet lest the wolves hear them. They were on a goddamn boat and there were only so many places to hide. This was all just so unbelievably stupid. And look, Monica had been killed. And she was human. It was almost like the wolves were enjoying a nice two for one special. One by murder, one by plank.
Bubba looked around with a face composed of barely veiled contempt before he spoke with a voice of unmasked annoyedness, "Are you all out of your fucking minds? How did we get back to me being a wolf? Because I talk to much? How else are we to determine who's a wolf? Haven't you people ever heard of the Socratic method?" He shook his head angrily, "You know what, make me walk the plank, I'll thank you for it. I'd rather drown than get ripped to shreds by the wolves, which is what's going to happen to all if you!" He finished scathingly, pointing his finger in a wide arc at everyone else.
Finally, he turned to Pax, ready for a parting shot, "just because you say you're protecting someone doesn't mean you've been protecting shit, we've no proof you are who you say you are." A pained expression crossed his face, "I can't believe these are going to be my famous last words but Hunter was right."

Mutiny
Death was quickly becoming a constant companion of Captain Bluemane.
All she could manage at this point was to listen to the counsel of the crew and hope that they could survive another night. At this rate, they were doomed anyway, so another night was the best blessing they could manage.
It was eerie, how similar the fate of this crew was to that of her old crew. Sure, her old crew hadn't been mangled by werewolves, but the mutinous actions weren't entirely dissimilar.
Now there were quite a few biting remarks between the remaining crew, and it was very difficult to imagine who could possibly be human at this point. Bluemane's first instinct was to simply blend in among the crew and vote by popular vote. It wasn't like any vote other than Bubba would make a difference at this point anyway, to be honest.
Still, maybe it was because of the bit of Sophia Nelson still inside her, but Bluemane didn't like the idea of voting Bubba to his death. She couldn't control her crew's actions, but she didn't believe Bubba was guilty. Not of being a werewolf, anyway. Beyond that, she couldn't say.
No, her own suspicions were toward a certain boy who'd been among the first to discover each body. A boy who'd slept in the crow's nest instead of among the crew. It was fishy, and it was - in her opinion - the boy who seemed most likely to harbor some level of guilt.
With a heavy heart - and knowing her vote would make little difference anyway, since the majority were swayed toward Pax and Bubba - Bluemane cast her lot in to Walter.
...with a last name like 'Wolf,' it would be strangely ironic if he was guilty, but that was life on the seas. You never knew what would happen on these tumultuous waves.
Regardless of the outcome, it'd been great fun to sail amongst the waves, if only once more.
Bluemane watched the sun high above the horizon with a fond, bittersweet smile.

DAY 4 - directly before night time
As before, there was much talk about who was responsible for the recurring deaths of those on board. Accusations flew but there was no proof as to who might have killed those who perished during the night time. But they couldn't just let everyone go and so those on board put it to a vote again, hoping that this time, they would finally find the killer.
This time, 5 people were nominated, Pax, Florian, Vivienne, Bubba and Pierre.
Pierre and Vivienne only had 1 vote for each of them, Florian was given 2 votes, Pax received 3 votes and Bubba got the majority of votes with 5 votes. It was obvious who the majority of people on board thought was responsible for the killings. And so Bubba was chosen as the culprit behind the killing of Xailah and the previous unfortunate souls who had perished during the night time. Would justice prevail and a wolf revealed?
However, once again, those on board had chosen incorrectly as Bubba would be revealed as a human as he walked the plank and fell to his watery death.
Night fell once more on the Chaos Demon, where the sea surrounded them and prevented those on board from escaping the ship to ensure safety. Those on board had just sent yet another one of their own to their grave. Now, there were 6 humans and 5 wolves. The wolves appeared to be unstoppable. Who would be the next one to die later that night?
Because there surely would be someone.
Time was fast disappearing and soon the wolves would end up outnumbering the humans.
If that happened, they could all converge on the remaining humans and devour them. There would be no need to keep up pretenses and the wolves would reign over the entire ship. Once the count reached 5 wolves versus 4 humans, the wolves would surround and attack the remaining humans to take them all out at once. The humans only had 1-2 chances left to survive. The best way was for them to take out a wolf when morning came.
DAY 5
Once more, morning rays of light shone down upon the Chaos Demon and a new body showed up on deck. Emma Wynn's body would be found by whoever happened to be upon the scene first. The wolves smelled victory in the air as the chances for the humans still on board to survive became less and less. Unless they managed to find a wolf next time, their chances for surviving were looking bleaker and bleaker for them all.
History wouldn't repeat itself again, right? This time, things would be different, right?
Reminders:
The game is set in a night and day cycle in the 'play' IC.
Mod posts will be posted once every 7 days OOC. But it will only be one day IC.
I will consider extending the deadline by 1 day if there are a lot who still need to post.
Current deadline will be... Monday, September 26th. If there are a lot still to post/vote, I will extend it by 1 day and do the mod post the following day to give you time.
Hunter, Protector and Wolves, please send in your owls to me with your actions!
Please title it as [Day 6] with your respective titles as usual.

Please vote for who you want to have walk the plank (eliminate).
Aka who you think the one responsible for killing Emma is.
Place your vote at the bottom of your post with the name of the person in bold.
Also state your vote IC as well with the person's name.
You may post as often as you want during this process but you MUST post at least once.
Remember, in your post cast your vote both IC and also at the bottom of your post too.
One last thing I thought I'd mention!!!!
You can send owls to eachother and discuss via discord if you like about who you are thinking of voting for etc... but you cannot reveal your true roles to eachother. By 'revealing' I mean by sending someone my owl I sent you that literally tells you what your role is. You can 'lie' and say what your role is to convince someone. But it's up to them whether they believe you or not.

Well, this was it. It didn't really matter who they voted for at this point. All logic was out the window and unless they happened to just randomly pick the wolf this round it would all be over. Another one two shot where whoever they convicted would be followed by every other human being devoured. The wolves had done a very good job this time around.
"Well, I don't really have any more logic for you all. I am pretty sure that if Pax is the protector, they have been protecting themselves this whole time. If they are not the protector than they are a wolf and were not in any danger in the first place. Everyone is innocent and everyone is guilty at this point, so why not let Pax go over board rather than be devoured. So I'm voting Pax. If they are the protector, they avoid a grisly death. If they are a wolf, well, at least we got one." The pale girl said with a shrug and a deep sigh.
After saying her peace and making her vote, she walked away from the group to gaze out over the make shift sea. No matter the outcome of this vote, she was going to end up feeling dumb. If Pax was the protector, she'd feel dumb for questioning herself and if Pax was a wolf, she's feel dumb for trusting her gut. She leaned over the railing and sighed deeply, waiting for other to deliberate and for the "night" to end.

─────Astrid was in a bit of a bind. She didn't know anyone here, except Walter who was out of character, Romeo's cousin. Bubba had been eliminated the day before and unfortunately, he was a human. Which meant that the 5 wolves were still present, probably delighted with what was happening. And the six humans were in full panic mode. Tomorrow the wolves would have the advantage if the game continued like this.
─────To get even more into the game, Astrid forced herself to forget that it was actually a game, that nobody could really die. But for some reason, she couldn't really get into the game. It was strange because Astrid loved role playing games. But there, it was too late. Or maybe the environment did not allow it. In any case, the girl couldn't tell herself that she might die, killed by a wolf in a few nights if the six remaining humans didn't unmask wolves.
─────But first she had to concentrate on the game at hand. The wolves had killed Emma, one of the only people Astrid had spoken to. And this someone, the blonde had no idea who it could be. EmmaLee thought that Pax was a wolf. But Astrid wasn't sure. Even if the first year's reasoning wasn't stupid, the Durmstrang girl didn't want to vote for Pax when they had said that they would protect her. To vote for them, she needed concrete evidence.
— You're not wrong, EmmaLee. Everyone is guilty and everyone is innocent at this point. To be exact, five are guilty and six are innocent. You propose to send Pax to the plank. But why not you, actually? Or someone else. Nothing against you, EmmaLee, but really, if you're sent to the plank, two options: either you're a human, too bad, you're dead. Or you're a wolf, and then everyone's happy! But if we send Pax... Imagine that they decided to protect someone other than themselves. Same thing, two choices: they are the protector and we killed them: sad. Or they are a wolf and we are happy. So I think we take less risk by sending EmmaLee on the plank instead of Pax.

The MenagerieHouse Colours: HufflepuffCalming Presence is ACTIVE to ALLWith a golden feather in his hat, Walter swung from the cargo net with a laugh and a hum as he realized that soon the entire ship would be doomed if nothing could be done for this already dysfunctional venture. Not too much longer, and everything would be over and done with. Admittedly, Walter... wasn't... too afraid of meeting death. He'd seen a lot in his time, from thievery and their subsequent hangings, to watching the exotic and the fantastical natures of the western coast, to observing the pompous and rich aristocrats strolling down roads and travelling on rich and decorated boats. Diseases and werewolves... what a life. What a way to go.
Heck, there was even a chance that the "attack" would somehow be lessened against the kid or somehow weakened, with the worst result being that he too would become a werewolf among them.
Ah well... only one way to find out for sure, but for the time being, Walter was more interested in preserving humanity for as long as possible, as tantalizing as any proposition that was offered to him could possibly be for him at this moment (perhaps Duchess would be rooting him on, and for certain the boy was carrying her with him as an eternal memory).
Fingers were pointed again, and this time Walter piped up on his suspicions in full. "You." Walter pointed towards the Ravenclaw duelist Beatrice. "You are one."Suspects: Walter votes Beatrice (willing to change his mind)
Edit: Walter changes his vote to EmmaLeeReducioRelationships:
Charles: Okayish... I get a bit worried when he gets close. He's certainly as strong-looking as a werewolf is.
Dealla Barfield: I doubt she's a wolf (unless Charles was). There's a high chance that as a newcomer she'll be targeted. If she's not... maybe she is a wolf. Also voted for Aryaan. It seems that Duchess and her have formed a tentative alliance. Perhaps that is for the better?
Aurelia Notresvace: Bad vibes all around. I don't trust her in the slightest. She didn't even say a word at the first meeting. Maybe that speaks to something else.
Akira: Seems strategic and collected. I notoriously distrust these types. Consider them a potential risk. He was the first to level something against Aryaan.
Quinn: Seems upset by this. Maybe she knows that she's the one doing it? Maybe she's being legitimate? Voted for Aryaan.
Pax: One of the ones that seemed to form a certain sect of voting for one another. Is there an alliance between some people here? Are the wolves working together? Why am I suspected by them? Pax claims to be the protector... but we have no way of knowing who is protected the night before, not helpful to trying to figure out the real protector or if Pax is bluffing. I don't suspect Pax, per say, but I do consider them a potential liar, and it is likely that the others do too... and if they were a healer, why wouldn't the wolves have taken them out tonight?
Xailah: Looks like a captain. Also looks shady... but I'd rather put my trust in someone who at least trusts me back a bit than someone who thinks I'm crazy. Be cautious, but also hopeful. She likes my cat! Also, it seems that she puts trust back in me, and I'm more than willing to help in whatever way possible. We both want out of the situation, after all.
Hunter: Seems a bit like me in a way that I can't quite place. May need a bit more time to assess him.
Vivienne: Quiet... cast a vote quickly and seemed unbiased. Observe. Voted for Aryaan. I think this makes her highly suspicious. Either a wolf or a sheeple.
Nessie: Also rather blank insofar as assessments. Observe.
Sophia: Impressive collection of 12 votes total. She must be liked... but maybe her voters are worth looking at for suspect (potential blending in with the crowd), even if she is a confirmed human. Duchess suspects her a lot, which I don't blame, but I (OOC) don't think that it is possible for the wolves to place one of their own as a leader (correct me if I am wrong).
Aryaan: Seems to be a voice of reason and not immediately jumping to pointing fingers. Voted for me... but still keep an eye out.
Emma: A prefect at our school, but titles don't matter at sea. May try to use the position of authority as an upper hand. Seems mostly to herself. Not a red flag, per say, but something of note.
Opelia: Strange, almost shady. I'd keep an eye on her, though a cunning mind may prove helpful in this strait.
EmmaLee: Another young one, but I don't put it past young people. They often have more wisdom than the most ancient adult. Voted with Duchess and I on Aurelia. Either a ploy to sustain trust, or maybe she knows something we don't... or maybe she trusts us.
Beatrice: Duellist, may have experience with strategy. If we determine her role, it may reveal more about how to act with her allies. I'm starting to suspect her more... though for the exact reason I am unsure.
Astrid: Seems skeptical, and is a friend of Charles'. Sounds like she suspects me a bit.. but I can't control how others think. Also voted for Aryaan. Self-acclaimed wolf expert... maybe she knows what's actually up?
Florian: I need more time to assess. Voted with Duchess and I on Aurelia, see above on "EmmaLee". I'm starting to bias towards trust. He seems willing to ration things out logically despite the chaos around us.
Monica: I need a bit more time to assess. Stay wary. Voted for Aryaan. I'm trusting her less and less.
I am certain that at least one of the people who voted for Aryaan is a wolf.
Keep an eye on these people.
Additional note, with wolves and humans reaching equilibrium, humans must all agree on one unanimous vote if we are to have a chance to outvote the wolves. Once this equilibrium is tipped in favor of the wolves, all is lost. We must get this vote correct.
Nobody is innocent.

It was very difficult, to root out the werewolves with only words.
In this morning alone, three separate accusations had been tossed to three separate individuals.
The very first argument came from EmmaLee, but Bluemane hated to think that her dear friend Pax could possibly be a werewolf all along. It didn't feel right.
There were eleven of them alive, and five of them were wolves. Statistically, all it took was a lucky guess and one of the werewolves would be picked out from the group, but the hard part was getting a common vote across the board.
Bluemane had a usual tactic of looking at whomever had received the most votes and simply supporting them. As the captain, it wasn't her duty to decide the will of the crew. It was her duty to support the crew in all of their endeavors. If that meant voting Pax out, then so be it.
However, Pax had received a healthy handful of votes in the previous nights. It didn't make sense if they were, in fact, a werewolf. Why would the werewolves vote for one of their own?
With a reluctant sigh, Bluemane cast her lot in against Pax's accuser.
"I be sorry, Miss EmmaLee. Ye be pointin' yer fingers at the one most likely o' bein' capable o' protectin' us from these mangy beasts, an' we mustn't allow it."
It was clear that the odds were pointing at them all being dead by morning, and Bluemane hated the fact that she'd lost two crews in a matter of months alone.
Still, regardless of the outcome, Bluemane was just happy to have been able to sail once more, if only for a while, and it was a Captain's duty to die with the ship, so at least she'd get that part right this time.

They/ShePax, usually the optimist, was quickly losing hope. Everyone was absolutely terrible at this game. No wolves had been voted off, and someone had been killed every night.
It seemed easier to accept their death. Nevertheless, they had to remain hopeful for the sake of the ship.
"There is still a chance," they trired to be optimistic. "I have been very unlucky with protecting, and I hope that can change.
As for my suspicions, I don't fully trust Beatrice or Vivienne, but my judgements have been warped. Though, truthfully, I don't know whether I can trust all of you.
Though, potentially to your surprise, I am struggling to trust Sophia. I don't like her claims that she believes so strongly in me-surely that is illogical. Anyone who has this much confidence in me doesn't reassure me, they worry me that they are trying to gain favour. And nobody has questioned her since we put her in a position of power, again I'll say, a position I regret voting her into. So, maybe to mine and everyone else's detriment, I will vote for her.
As for who to protect, this will be done at random if I do not die. Again, it will be myself, or... Della Barfield this time around."
They sighed. Honestly, at this point, there wasn't much more that could be done.Vote: Sophia NelsonReducio
