Why do you want to be a mentor? When I first joined the site, I was very confused as to how to do homework, code, even role play (...) A lot of great people helped me learn my way around and I want to do the same, like those kind people did for me. I want to help others who are new around the site whether it be learning the rules of the site, how to complete homework or just learning their way around the site.

Why do you want to be a mentor? When I first found Hio, it was my first time discovering forum RP, and I was really fascinated by all the possibilities a character could be. Yet the rules were a bit much for me at that time. I was confused, but there were many kindhearted members on site who helped me. In the end, I gradually understood how to RP and did the homework. I'd like to give the warm welcome and kindness I've received to the newer players. I hope I can be helpful to them and assist them to be more familiar with all the site rules and the RP world.

Why do you want to be a mentor? I feel like I could be a good help to new people who join with getting around the site at first. I think I would be able to help answer questions while they are getting started pretty well or would be quick to ask someone else if I couldn’t answer it. I’ve gotten to know the site pretty well over the time here and have gotten to participate in different events and unofficial games so I think I would be able to help them learn about everything the site has to offer.

Why do you want to be a mentor? I was previously a Slytherin Prefect, but life got busy, so I couldn’t keep up with the expectations of the position. I stepped back to focus on my real life and the roleplay side of HiO, but I still want to give back to the community. I think being a Mentor would be a good way to do that, and that I can do it with the time I currently have. At the time of signing up, I am still on Staff but will be stepping down once a replacement is found. I know that I cannot be both, but by the time the waitlist is gone through, I should be resigned from staff.
