Yep! You can say that you are having snacks in threads. Chocolate frog collecting doesn't mean you have to mention that you only have two. You can also mention the people if you want! You just can't godmod (basically making another character do an action without writer's consent) without permission.

I use snapchat only to communicate, I don't watch anything, only because everyone on there are really mean for no reason in the comments. But in general, I'm not a fan either.
