well, for a last name you could say her parents got divorced or something. But for a first name that would be hard.
Maybe have that be her middle name but everyone calls her that?

Yeah her dad did get a divorce after her mom had "fallen out of love". It didn't really faze Miami because her mom treated them poorly
I think for first name i could say that her dad wanted something to fit more with spanish culture cause her dad is half mexican
