I just saw the weirdest thing...There were a million blackbirds outside, and they were everywhere swarming over everything, and there were so many. In fact, you could hear the thunderous flapping of their wings from inside as they flew back and forth, a lot of them swarming over cars and touching the ground. I swear, there were hundreds of them. Have you ever seen this type of bird behavior before?

Most definitely. I've seen it before. It's more so frightening when they decide to attack oncoming cars...

Do you know what that means? 'Cause I was a little worried for the car, which the birds also swarmed over...Adina Rosewood wrote: 23 Dec 2022, 20:30 Most definitely. I've seen it before. It's more so frightening when they decide to attack oncoming cars...

I honestly have no clue. I mean, I assume it's them trying to group up for a big flight to warmer areas, but to go over cars and what not? I just assumed they all think they can take a car down with their large numbers lol

Whoa. I haven't seen anything quite like that, Aurora! I've often seen birds fly around swarm around, touch the ground or an electric line and take off again!

Neither have I...until now, it was a little creepy, even though I was laughing the whole time

I looked it up: they apparently think it's a dangerous predator. Usually they attack it to protect nearby nests? That...and another place said that they're just trying to show off their speed and agility, or trying to agitate the driver. Kind of funny that they try and show off lol

Maybe...as soon as a phone was put up to take a video(mine), all of the birds took off with a thunderous flap and were gone in seconds.Adina Rosewood wrote: 23 Dec 2022, 20:42 I looked it up: they apparently think it's a dangerous predator.
