The way the fake permission slip works is common knowledge that will be shared with everyone who wants to know. No holding back info like that, that is just not fair. If you want to make a shop, you can do so, but there won't be any info held back for the sake of it working, if it creates a disadvantage for others.

Honestly, it sounds to me like you're trying to take advantage of firsties by reselling things from Hogsmeade to them. Your character doing this in RP is one thing but I think it's not very fair to do this out of character so you can make money off them. Bit too much like gaming the system. Especially when you consider how little money firsties can get in the first place.

I don't watn to sell them for more money they are worth in real. I don't want to make money with it, I want to be friendly and a bit helpful, because I know - we firsties don't get much money, so, most of us don't even have enough to buy the form.

I believe that that was your intention, but then it doesn't make sense that you don't want us to share how we can access Hogsmeade.

Just my opinion but aside from the canonical reason firsties can't go to Hogsmeade, I think that if firsties really want to access Hogsmeade without waiting, it's great motivation to save their pennies galleons and participate in errands and events to earn more or to roleplay with older students who do have access to Hogsmeade. Cheating the system kind of takes that motivation away and makes the Permission slip valueless.

I agree totally! And why bother buying a permission slip instead of say, a pet, or something else?

I, personally, think all shops that are reselling items (chocolate frogs, things from locked places, or others) make the fun of the mystery game vibe disappear.

Trading the cards is fun is nice, as it gives you a way to met new people, but selling them isn't. And a fun aspect is buying cards to see if you get things, not buying a bunch of opened one for no reason but to say you got them collected.

And then its the reselling. When you send things a percentage of the price is taken away, so something sent over could have costed you 1 sickle, but it will probably only be 20ish knuts sent through. Also, it takes away the fun of saving up for the map, and buying it ourselves.
